The Solitary Field

17 3 2

I saw a solitary land,
With the breeze taking reassurance-
I strove forth; Faced the dwindling world.

A woman Bent. On the soil, toiling,
Working tirelessly, the happy day laughed.
And I saw the things I never thought perished.
I saw a man on the solitary field,
Commanding- upon his dejection and his apt.
And a boy fielded in tis' misendeavor.

I saw a solitary land
With the breeze taking reassurance-
I strove forth; Faced the dwindling world.

The woman in sight of pity. I implored.
All men of vision left unprospered. Foul.
The world run by treacherousness, wicked,

Are those weak-minded men, who called-
I am most powerful, you do what-not for me,
If you live, it is for me. You die, all the same.

The paddy field roared in nefariousness,
The woman cropped every bit and bit,
Fry chickens the heat did, woman why not?
And dead-panned the woman fell,
Like might Ceasar doth, in honor, in betrayal,
The man hath betrayed, and so did I.

Well, I saw a solitary land,
With the breeze taking reassurance-
And I strove forth; faced the dwindling world.
