Conversation between Christoffer Schistad and an anonymous Yakuza member;
On the phone:

'This is different! I'm not talking about the trouble surrounding me! I am talking about Ellinor Rasmussen!'
'Don't know her.'
'Yes you do!'
'What do you want from me?'
'I want to know why Ellinor Rasmussen was a target alongside William Magnusson on New Years! That's all!'
'You are stupid if you don't know why Ellinor has enemies...'
'So be it, then. But just tell me why would she have enemies? I need to know?'
'It's not her... Her Father is a highly feared man. Some call him the business buzz of Oslo. He causes a lot of trouble.'
'That's her father. Not her. She doesn't even have contact with him!'
'Her Dad's power caused my dad to lose his job! I'm going to take it out on her because she's the closest thing to him.'
'That doesn't make sense!'
'It doesn't have to, this is the big league.'
'It's not her fault!'

Elli sat in class next to Noora Sætre.
'So, about Will-'
'Do not! I don't want to talk about it!'
'Okay...' Elli chuckled at Noora's response, bringing the latter to crack a small smile. Her face soon returned to one of serious composure, though, as she gave Elli a warning look.
'Things are just weird, okay. Don't want to talk about it.'

Conversation between Eva and Noora;

On the phone:

'Noora! Please tell me!'
'I honestly don't know!'
'You must!'
'Eva, I really, really, really do not. It's not my business if they're having a secret 'thing'...'
'...'
'If she's not telling me, then it's either not a thing, or it's really private. She tells me everything.'

It's apparent that Noora thinks she know all of what's going on in Elli's life. However, all of which has occurred on the past few weeks (Yakuza, nightmares, 'sleeping' with Chris, waking up with William etc) is completely unknown to Noora. It is obvious that problems will arise from the one-sided friendship.

'You know, Switzerland is lovely this time of year...'
'Christoffer Schistad! Would you please stop trying to change the subject!'
'I'm not! This is perfectly on topic...'
'You think so?'
'Yeah, see we will go to Switzerland, forget about Yakuza, and I won't have to explain things.'
'Chris. Tell. Me. Now!'
'Okay, okay... So this Yakuza guy said that him and a bunch of his other 'gang mates' have all had issues with their family at the hand of your father.'
'What?'
'Apparently his business techniques include so pretty harsh blackmailing, and punishment.'
'I-'
'I know what you are gonna say, so I'm going to stop you. It is not your fault. Do not apologise. These Yakuza guys are out of line thinking you have anything to do with the acts of your father.'
'Did you explain that to them?'
'I tried.'
'So are they still after me, or whatever?'
'Seem to be.'
