We walked across the city at a lax pace, as I had essentially 15 minutes to get to class, and Chemistry class was 10 minutes away. We were talking about our plans for the night when I had a feeling of someone watching me. I involuntarily shuddered and looked over my shoulder. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary, so I didn't say anything.
The building was off of the main road, so we turned down an empty street. I got that feeling again, so I turned around. I saw a black van and a few parked cars . The glass on the van was tinted incredibly dark. This creeped me out, so I increased my speed, and my friends responded in kind.
Just as I was about to turn the corner, I heard a gentle hiss and then a sharp pain in my right arm.
"What the --" I hissed. Then the world started spinning. My legs buckled, and I hit the ground. I heard two more faint hisses before I blacked out.

I was aware of a gentle rocking motion first. Then, I heard voices. There were two male voices and one female voice, as far as I could tell. I also heard a beeping noise.
Uugh. I had one massive headache. I managed to open my eyes.
"HS01 is awake," a guy's voice said. I looked around to pinpoint the source, but failed. What I did see, though, terrified me.
It was sort of an isolation room -- glass walls permitted people to see what was occurring inside without fear of contamination from the inside. I could see a few people watching. When I looked up, I saw hoses attached to the ceiling. A table with a few syringes filled with an amber colored fluid sat a few feet away from me. I tried moving my arms, but they wouldn't budge. Then I tried my legs. When they didn't move either, I looked down, only to see that my arms and legs were restrained by metal cuffs that were welded to the table.
"Good," the woman's voice said, "Begin the injections."
"WHAT?!" I screamed. I struggled as on of the men uncapped a syringe. He carefully pushed the air out, and then approached me.
I started thrashing like an insect in a spider's web. "NO! HELP! OH MY GOD, HELP!" He grabbed my arm and stabbed me with the needle, and then depressed the plunger.
At first, I didn't feel anything. Then, I felt my right arm get warm. It quickly increased to an unbearable level.
The pain, the burning, was blinding. I was screaming and thrashing. "MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE! MAKE IT STOP!" Hot tears streamed down my face.
I barely felt the second prick in my left arm. With it came a raging inferno that doubled the pain that I was in. I couldn't stand it; I needed it to end.
A third prick was quickly followed by a fourth, and it felt like I was being jolted by 500 volts of electricity. As it coursed through me, the burning reached its peak before dissipating, leaving me a sweaty, shivering, and whimpering mess.
"Injections complete. Let HS01 rest. Please bring her to her room," the woman said. I didn't want to get up. Or move. All I felt like doing was curling up and dying. I felt my restraints being unlocked, and two pairs of rubber gloves picked me up and placed me in a wheelchair. I was too exhausted to fight. A blanket was draped over me and I snuggled up to it. As soon as I was wheeled out, I fell asleep.

When I woke up, I immediately knew that something about my body was different. I couldn't pinpoint it, though. I didn't give it much thought, as I had other things to focus on. Like my sore muscles. I groaned as I sat up and looked around.
