" When a man gives his opinion, he's a man. When a woman gives her opinion, she's a bitch."
- Bette Davis -
Jacques walked towards her.
He frowned.
Who is this woman? Hindi niya ito kilala. She's not familiar.
The woman had a long raven black hair. She was not wearing a make up. Her lips were pinkish and her nose is cute, not the duchess type but undeniably cute.
and those lips....he wondered how it tastes-
He recoiled. What the f------!!!! He opened his palm and massaged his neck.
Bastard, the woman took your ring and that book! Kung ano ang iniisip mo!
The woman raised her head. Slowly, gracefully.....
Their eyes met.
"Oh, there you are!" she smiled.
Suddenly, he noticed her chin. A chin which is not usual for a Filipino.
" Yeah, I also wonder why my mother had this kind of chin. Unusual for a Filipino, eh?" and she chuckled. She shrugged.
"Alam mo kung ano ang kailangan ko." he said blankly.
She gaped at him.
" oh hello." she said with irritation. She throw up her hands.
"Now , really, what's with you guys, you always-
"You took my ring! " he cried.
Nag-isang linya ang mga kilay nito. Jacques knew she was already annoyed, well, kanina pa siya naiinis and he had all the rights to be annoyed. more annoyed than her!
"Men are a bunch of crazy bastards! " she hissed.
Jacques raised his brow.
"Excuse me, miss, sino ba sa ating dalawa ng kumuha ng singsing ko! " he shouted.
She pouted her lips.
Her hands behind her back, while his hands were inside his jean's pockets.
Iniangat nito ang ulo, her face expressionless.
" I believe that men are pathetic." she said with a defiant tone.
" wala akong panahon maki-
" You are a man."
" and what-
" You are pathetic."
Jacques groaned. He's losing his patience and self-control. What a woman!
" I have no proof that this ring is yours."
She showed him her right hand. Showing the back of her hand. She raised it centimeters away from her right cheek.
His eyes grew wide.
" Isinuot mo ang singsing! " his voice was like thunder on a silent night.
Lora was petrified. She moved backwards. His voice was undeniably shaking her.
Napaluhod si Jacques. For a moment she thought he would pass out. But no, he was just kneeling and he looked so...so exhausted.
What did she do?
" I had enough." Jacques whispered.
She walked towards him.
" Are you alright.?" tanong niya.
Jacques shook his head.
" I will never be alright." and he stared at her. His eyes were full of contempt and dissapointment.
She was melting from his looks. It's as if she has done something....something grave....something unjustifiable.
She knelt in front of him. Pareho na silang nakaluhod...she could feel the perspiration on her head.
"Dude, I don't know what to do...what to feel.."
She raised her hand. Her hand brushed his shoulder.
Ngunit ibinaba niya ang kamay niya.
" Sige na, i give up..." she tried to take off the ring but he stopped her.
" Don't." he held her hand tightly.
