Lights and pretty pizza boys

Dit verhaal hebben we geschreven voor een opdracht van Engels. We hebben hard gelachen tijdens het schrijven. Hopelijk begrijpen jullie onze humor ook :) Als we een fout hebben gemaakt mag je ons altijd verbeteren, maar doe dit wel op een vriendelijke manier.

We wrote this story for our English class. We laughed very hard while we're writing this. We hope that you understand our sense of humor. If we made a mistake, please be free to correct us but be nice.

Once upon a time there were two girls named Fenna and Ilse. They weren't sisters by life but sisters in heart. Fenna invited Ilse to go to the China Lights with her and her mum. "Yes", Ilse said. So, they took the tram to Antwerp. After their arrival, they went to the Pizza Hut. There were a lot of people in the Pizza hut, so they had to wait for a long time before they could take a seat. They didn't mind tough, because there was a pretty pizza boy. "Do you see that pretty boy there?" asked Ilse while she was trying to get Fenna's attention. "Yes I see him," Fenna said. "I hope that he would bring our pizza."

"Me too," Ilse said.

While they were drooling all over him, the row was getting shorter and they could finally take a seat. The pizza tasted delicious but sadly the pretty pizza boy didn't bring their pizza's.

After eating they went to the zoo. "It's beautiful in here! There are a lot of lights and it's looking like China", Ilse said overwhelmed. "No shit Sherlock! Why do you think they call it CHINA LIGHTS!?" Fenna answered. There were a lot of different colors and Fenna and Ilse were amassed by that. The whole zoo was full of lights. At the entrance, they saw the Chinese zodiacs made of lights and colored cotton. Fenna and Ilse were looking for their zodiacs. Ilse's zodiac is a dragon and Fenna's zodiac is a rabbit. There were also beautiful and colorful animals, like monkeys, owls, elephants and fish. There were also nice flowers. The whole zoo was absolutely outstanding! At the end of the tour, there was a big colorful dragon. Before they realized, the dragon came to life and flew over the whole zoo.

"Look Fenna! The dragon is alive!" Ilse screamed. "Don't be silly. It's just a bunch of cotton and cotton doesn't live", Fenna said. "You don't believe me, do you? Turn around then." Fenna turned and was petrified. "T-that piece of cotton is really flying?"

"Told you so," Ilse said while she was smiling and jumping from excitement. Sadly, tough the dragon wasn't a sweetheart. He started to attack people. Ilse wasn't scared at all, that stupid girl was calling the dragon. "He won't hurt me because he's my zodiac. Come dragon, come sweet little dragon."

"Ilse he is not a sweet dragon, not even a little bit. Run away you stupid!" Fenna ran away and Ilse was still calling the dragon.

The dragon flew to Ilse, not for cuddling with her, but to grape her with his claws. "Look Fenna he wants a hug!"

"No Ilse, he won't! Get away from there!" The dragon started spitting fire. Ilse finally gets it and ran away. "Fenna, he isn't a sweet dragon!"

"Seriously? Never expected that one."

"There is just one problem now", Ilse said. "What?" Fenna replied. "There is a dragon chasing us right now."

"Yeah... That could be a problem. Where is the pretty pizza boy when you need him?"

"I think he's sitting on his back right now. Look!"

Fenna looked at the sky and saw the pretty pizza boy riding the dragon. "Can I go next?"

"No Fenna you can't!" The pretty pizza boy jumped from the back of the dragon and the dragon flew away. "I'm here to save you girls."

"If you were a second later you've only had to save Fenna!" Ilse screamed at him.

"Ilse I have a question."

"Spit It out, but not on me." Fenna looked annoyed. "There is one pretty pizza boy but there are two of us."

"That's not a problem. I can have him and you can go with the dragon."

"But I want him as well. I have an idea. Let's cut him in two pieces, then you can have a half and I a half" The pizza boy looked scared and confused. He didn't like Fenna's idea. "No! I want a whole pizza boy! A half would smell a bit..."

Fenna and Ilse both took an arm and pulled at it. There was a loud scream and a disgusting sound.

Suddenly the whole scène turned black and the two girls woke up again in the Pizza Hut. They were looking for the pizza boy but then they realized he was just an imagination.

"I really going to miss him", Ilse said sadly. "Who? The pizza boy?"

"No the dragon. He was a great hugger."

"Yeah, me too, it was a nice dragon. I still want to ride his back."

The end.
