Chapter One

"Yes!" A man cheered along with many other people.

"We don't have to live in fear anymore now that the Titans are gone." A little girl adds.

The Titans had has a sudden disappearance for three years and it was now safe to go out to the walls.

"I can't wait to go see the outside world." Eren said as we sat down in the mess hall.

"I'm not sure if it's safe out there yet Eren." I replied calmly. "Just because they haven't appeared in two years does not mean that we are safe yet."

Eren looked at me, confusion in his light green grass eyes. "But Mikasa, no Titans had attacked in over 2 years! Don't you see? We can finally be free!"

I stood up and stared at him in disappointment. "You saw what happened that day and so did I, the Titans attacked after 50 years had past, who knows if they attack again Eren? For once in your life use your head!"

Eren stared at me in anger and cold regret. Crap, I didn't mean that. I grabbed his hand but he roughly pulled back and started walking towards the door.

"Eren I just want to protect y-" I started. "SAVE IT I DON KNOW WHY I WANTED YOU TO LIVE WITH ME IN THE FIRST PLACE!" He yelled.

I stared at him with disbelief. Everyone's eyes were staring at us now. Eren gave me one cold glare before turning around.

"I'm going out of those walls, I don't know about you. But as soon as I leave never talk to me again." He walked out of the mess hall slamming the door behind him.

I stared at the door and at my scarf. I ripped the scarf off and ran out the door and outside the walls.

I heard people calling my name but I didn't care.

I knocked into a tree and fell on the ground. "I didn't mean it. "I cried as I digged my head into my knees.

I heard crunching of leaves, they were getting closer and closer by the minute.I stood up and looked behind me."Who is there?" I whispered taking a step back.

I felt myself bump knock into someone and two rough hands wrapped around my waist.I turned around and punched the  man in the stomach with my elbow.

"OW YOU BITCH!" He yelled holding his stomach and falling to his knees.

The crunching leaves from behind me got closer and tackled me to the ground.

"EREN!" I yelled trying to get up from thw ground, but he was holding my arms hard behind my back.

The man that I kicked stood up and took something out of his pocket.

He put something over my head and forced me to stand up. I felt someone grab my waist again and hoist me in the air.

I struggled and kicked but it was no use. The only person who could help me was on my mind..

"EREN!!"
