Chapter Six

Eren's POV

I carried Mikasa bridal style all the way back to our horse. I put her up on the saddle and sat in front of her. She put her hands around my waist.

"Are you ready to go?" I asked. She nodded and we started our journey back to Wall Sina.

Jean's POV

I paced around back and forth around my room staring at the pictures of Mikasa. She had been gone for about three days now and Eren still has not come back with her.

I was starting to get worried...

I walked to a picture of Mikasa's black hair and punched the wall next to it. "DAMMIT!" I yelled. "Why does Eren always have to get in the way.."

I stared at a picture of Eren surrounded by targets. "Mikasa should of been mine from the beginning.." I picked up a gun and pointed it at the picture.

"She WILL be mine..even if I have to kill him to get her." I shot the gun and the bullet broke the picture in half.

Mikasa's POV

I looked around up in the clouds, watching as the birds fly around the air freely.

I sighed as stared at Ere. I wish we were like that.."So, Mikasa I'm..uh...I'm really sorry about earlier." Eren spoke up.

I spread my fingers around my red scarf delicately and smiled at it. "Its alright Eren, I had lost my head to..I didn't know what I was thinking."

He chuckled quietly. "It's fine if you don't want to come with me. I completely understand that you need to make your own choices and you don't have to have me by you all the time."

I stopped smiling and wrapped my arms around his waist. "M-Mikasa?" He stuttered. I stared up at his dark brown hair and felt tears burning in my black-gray eyes.

"Eren, I changed my mind. I want to stay with you.." I cried. "I don't want to leave you ever again, I want to be by your side forever."

He stayed silent for a while before stopping. "Mikasa, can you follow me please?" He asked. He dismounted the horse and held out his hand.

"Yeah..okay." I said. He stared at me shocked for a while like he was thinking about something before taking my hand and pulling me on the green grass.

He stared at the horse. "Don't go anywhere okay?" He put a bucket of water and a basket of carrots in front of him and the horse greedily drank and ate it.

He started walking towards a sparkling blue lake with butterflies and bunnies around it.

He sat me down on a stump and smiled up at me. He hasn't smiled in a long time I wonder what he is planning to do.

He kneeled down on one knee and cupped my hands into his. I stared at him confused. What was he doing?

"Mikasa, ever since we have met as kids, I always knew that I had found the perfect girl for me. I act like that I haven't liked you, and that's a total lie. I just hated that you were always protective all the time. Mikasa Ackerman...will you be my girlfriend?"

I gasped and put my hands to my pink and red blushing cheeks. Should I say yes? Should I say no? My throat started to hurt as I tried to keep my tears from flowing.

"Yes Eren, I will be your girlfriend!"

He quickly pulled me into a hug and smiled. "I'm never leaving your side again." I pulled him back and kissed him with so much passion and love.

He felt surprised at the moment and his fingers twitched behind my back, but after a few seconds her wrapped his hands around my neck and started kissing me back.

"I love you Eren.."

"I love you to, Mikasa"

After two hours by the lake, we finally walked back towards the horse and mounted again. I wrapped my arms around his waist and he started riding.

3 hours later:

"Look, there's the wall!" Eren shouted. I looked over his shoulder to see Wall Sina 1 feet away from us. 

"Yes, we are almost th-" I started.

THUMP

"What was that?" I asked fear starting to make my blood turn cold.

I turned my head around to see 15 Abnormal Titans running towards us. "EREN!" I screamed. He turned around and looked at the Titans in shock.

"I THOUGHT THEY WERE ALL GONE!" I stared down at the horse and it looked as frightened as we all did.

"IF YOU WANT TO LIVE THEN KEEP RIDING!" I yelled at the horse. He rapidly started to gallop faster, his hoofs getting faster and faster at every step he took.

I looked back at the Titans and saw that they were getting closer. "WE'RE ALMOST THERE!" Eren shouted over the loud footsteps.

The Titans were only an arms reach from us. "HURRY!" I screamed. I felt a cold shade loom over me and I looked up.

We were now in the walls! The gate shut behind us and a loud thud was heard behind it.

"We...made it." Eren breathed. I wiped the sweat from my face and stared up at Eren. "Yeah and we can alert the Regiment and tell them that the Titans had came back."

He nodded and picked me up bridal style. "Let's let everyone know that you're alright." I smiled blushing a bit and nodded. He turned around and started walking towards the village.
