"No offence but its been a week." She pulled the blankets off me.

What the heck ?

I can't go out of the suite because I will see him. I don't know why it hurts so much to know that he choose some German girl over me. Maybe he has known her longer, but she is rather pretty...what did Lukas see in me anyways we are from different worlds. Why is a guy whom I met a month ago bothering me like this, I shouldn't care.

"Today absolutely no tourist attractions or anything to do with history. Please Nella we are eighteen we are going to a club." Mandy chattered.

"You two can go, I'm just really not in the mood." I frowned.

"Well if this makes you feel any better, I heard Lukas's suite has been empty for a week." Leah put on a stupid grin.

My heart shattered. I said I hated him this is definitely what I wanted right to never see him again. Why do I suddenly feel betrayed ?

"Okay." Was all I managed to murmur.

"Stop being a Debby Downer..." Mandy said pulling me off my bed.

"Fine fine let me get dressed." I said getting up then I suddenly remembered... "Hey a club doesn't open in the mid afternoon does it ?"

"Well no its more lit at night, right now we will just be going for coffee at a nearby café."

"Don't you have to be over twenty One to get into a club ?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Nella stop with the questions we look old enough." Leah said as a matter of fact.

I quickly showered, still quite sad about Lukas leaving the hotel but argh who cares. My mind kept on drifting to that night that special night, he was so gently and ...

After the shower I didn't bother much on my appearance, I threw in my black and white Adidas track suit and left my hair in its wavy curls as well as the most comfortable shoes that included a Nike, I looked like I was coming from a run or going for a run.

"Can we go ?" I briefly said..Mandy and Leah were all well dressed, they looked their best both in skinny jeans that hugged the figure well.

"Morning George." I said when I noticed his presence.

"Morning girls, uhm Antonella will it be a problem if I could have a day off for today." George asked. I smiled goodness gracious, I never thought I would hear him ask that.

"Of cause George." I smiled widely but why was I smiling it's not like I can still sneak out with Lukas anymore.

Making our way out of the hotel for the first time without George felt like a relief. It felt like being free without having someone constantly watching over you.

We arrived in the café it was a short distance from the hotel, it was very neat and appealing in all categories.

"I will go order, Nella find us a booth..?" Mandy summoned.

"I will come with you Mandz, I would really like normal breakfast today. No offence Nella German food is great, I'm just getting home sick." Leah said as we stood near the counter, the café wasn't that full, awesome I wasn't a fan of crowded places.

"Blueberry muffins for me please." I said.

"Yeah yeah, back to your addiction." Leah giggled playfully teasing me.

"Just get us a booth Nella." Mandy slightly slouched beside the counter.

I made my way to be nearby booth, it was far from the entrance which was perfect. I slumped myself on the comfortable seats, after some few minutes Mandy and Leah still weren't done ordering argh poor service so I took out my phone only to find a message that made me smile instantly.

Pa : George informed me that my little girl has been very sad. I have a surprise for you. Ek het Lief vir jou.

Anyways what was taking my friends so long ?

Lukas.

I felt like shit. I didn't even have the strength to talk to her. It would be a waste of time since this was temporary, I should move on.

"Lukas stop spoiling the mood." Marian said patting my shoulder, I had recently told him the whole ideal but he seemed to think I had made the right decision by choosing my father's interests which was Deya but my heart begged to differ.

"Don't look at me like that, we are going to the best café in Berlin so cheer up." Marian said raucously, I simply faked a smile as he pushed the door to the café.

I noticed Antonella's two friends but she was no where in sight. I walked over to them knowing I would be writing a death wish because Antonella had most probably told them what a dick I am.

"Hi Mandy...Leah." I greeted them and Marian did the same.

"Oh hi Lukas Rieger." Leah said with haste. ooookaay.

"Hello Lukas." Mandy said in ramshackle.

"Uhm.." I scratched my neck. "Is Antonella around ?" I asked making Marian give me the look that would probably be translated to 'you have a fiancee you idiot'..but I didn't care.

"Didn't she tell you ?" Leah gasped, my heart shattered before I even heard what was about to be said.

"What ? What happened ?"

"She went back to Johannesburg." Mandy said before a the cashier disturbed her giving her the order.

I felt numb, nothing could rectify how I feet at this time and place.

Everything was stagnant my body, my heart, my soul.

So much for being a fool inlove, she never said it back.
