Not really a blessing tree

I sat outside behind the school, i gazed at the branches above my head, the sakura tree was the only thing that seemed to calm me at times like these. The branches swayed in the gently breeze, I sighed I couldn't stay behind the school forever i knew i had to walk back to the my school's gym to see what job i get soon but i was positive it was probably a lame job " Maybe i'll be working as a waiter, " i joked to myself but it didn't help my mood.

I got up soon " Time to see what lame job i'm going to get, " I mumbled to myself, I looked at the sakura tree sometimes a pink petal fell from it to the ground " I wish i don't get a lame job, " I whispered to the tree as if it was magic and it could fix this problem but nothing happened " What do you know your just a tree, " I said a bit angry, I punched the tree and waited for something to happen suddenly a branch landed on me. I fell to the ground i shook my head some of the petals on the branch were in my hair " Dang it, " I said as i got up and wiped the dirt off me i turned around " Just my luck, " I thought as i headed back to the gym.

Entering the gym i looked around seeing kids everywhere chatting to there friends " I Hope i become a Rene member, " A boy said " My family has been Yume members for years now i'm sure to get it, " Other one said " I always wanted to be a Sachi member, " A girl said. " Hey Akane! " someone said by now i knew it was Hotaru, he was waving to me the others behind him. They walked up to me " Akane aren't you excited? " Hotaru said " Not really, " i replied " But this is a once in a life time event, " Hana said she had Short brown hair and hazel eyes, I shrugged a bit " But why? " Ruku asked me his Bright Orange hair covered his Golden Amber eyes sometimes people confused them for hazel eyes but they were always wrong " I guessed almost every single question, " I said " That isn't good, " Melody said adjusting her glasses will trying to move her long dark green hair from her icy blue eyes " You got to believe! I'm sure you did great! " Hotaru said loudly, to anyone hearing Hotaru speak could have hurt their ears but by now the school was use to the loud mouth idiot " I sure to get a lame job, " I said " Stop looking at the bad I'm sure it'll be fine, " Ruku said and Hana nodded to me, Melody muttered agreement " Yeah! You could be a Sachi, a Yumu, Rene, Chizu Or maybe even a Hern! " Hotaru said as he grinned widely but soon Melodly smacked him in the back of the head " Idiot, there hasn't been a Hern for the last 5 years, " she said and Hotaru crossed his arms and pouted a bit. I couldn't help but laugh a little but soon it was cut short as a teacher walked onto the stage " Attention! " he called out and soon it was quiet " its time to announce the results! " he said " I'll begin with The Rene Group, " He said " Tori, Ragsuta, Kemono, Onsie, " The teacher called many names but then a heard a very familiar name " Hotaru Sasayaki, " He said. Shocked a bit i looked at Hotaru he had the biggest grin i ever seen " Good job, " Ruku said to him the long black sleeves that covered his arm patted Hotaru on the shoulder, I smiled " I wonder what the others are getting, " I thought.

Names were announced and groups were mentioned, Hana got Sachi, Ruku got Yume and Melody got Chizu but i didn't hear my name at all, I sighed " All students who didn't hear their name please go to the front of entrance to the school and meet your local city job, " The teacher said. My friends looked at me worried even Hotaru a bit, I smiled weakly " Don't worry guys i'll see you later, " I said before walking away.

" I was right and for a while i thought i wasn't.... I'm getting a lame job, " I thought as i frowned walking behind the other students who didn't hear their names soon i made it to the entrance of school, Adults were outside the school waiting for us they walked up to students and introduced themselves. I looked around before spotting a man with White hair and reddish brown eyes " Are you Akane Knight? " He asked me as he walked to me, The man was short he seemed 18 " Y-yes, " I stuttered a bit not knowing if he was the person who was going to tell me about my job.

He shook my hand " I'm Kasai Sagyo a Hern, " He said as he smiled, My eyes widen and i froze " Did he just say he was a Hern!? " I thought
