Not this time

A game to not remember

it wasn't soon that me and Ritoru could check out of the hospital as we did, we both went to a window to view the city from Noragami one last time. Me or Ritoru didn't speak about it but i think we both felt a strange new bond with the world we were only were to check on. Ritoru walked down the hall of the hospital the way the door back to our world was. I watched as Ritoru short blonde hair waved slightly as if there was a breeze, I remembered that when we went back to our world the disguises we wore at the moment would be gone soon and we would look like our normal selves. Starting to walk i followed three steps behind Ritoru before stopping at the door which we came through to this world " Are you ready? " Ritoru asked me and i nodded, he reached out his hand and opened the door. Instantly we saw the portal, Ritoru seemed to look at himself before he walked through the portal, i waited as Ritoru vanished from view before taking a deep breath before i stepped into the portal vanishing quickly, the door behind me closing loud.

I opened my eyes quickly as i felt myself get out of the portal, I looked around to see the familiar room where the Herns worked at. Looking at Ritoru he seemed fine " Akane! Ritoru! " Someone yelled before i felt someone grab both of us and gave us a bone crushing hug " Please let go...... m-my sh-shoulder, " I said as i tried to breath " Rozu Dapperu! let go of them! " yelled someone new, it was Kasai. Rozu let us both go, i took deep breaths getting as much air as possible in case she hugged me again, Ritoru looked worst their was still a hint of blue on his face from not being able to breath. Rozu crossed her arms " But its been ages, " She said to Kasai " No its been three days, " He said back " We've been gone three days, " I asked him, Kasai nodded. From the Noragami world it had been about a week, I thought. I winced a bit finally remembering my shoulder again, Rozu looked at me " Whats wrong? " She asked me " I just hurt my shoulder, " I told her as Kasai was talking to Ritoru about taking off disguises " You know this reminds me of something, " Rozu said, Kasai looked at her " What? " He asked " That i lost the game! " she said grinning at him. Kasai seemed to mumble something rude under his breath " I lost the game, " he said finally " What game? " Ritoru asked him " The game, " Rozu said " The game? " I said confused " Yes, its a game called the game, " She said " What is it about? " Ritoru asked this time " The game is not to remember the game, " Rozu said, I was still confused, Ritoru was too " The game is to simply not to remember the game. As in if you remember the game you have to say you lost the game out loud so people can remember and then say they lost the game too, " Kasai said " Why do you have a game like that? " I asked them " Because we were bored, " Rozu said " it almost been a year without remembering about it. But you ruined it and now i have to start over again, " Kasai said, Rozu giggled a bit " Please stick this needle wherever and the Disguises should vanish as you do, " Kasai handing us a needle, I stuck the needle into my good arm. I hate needles. the disguises seemed to vanish like Kasai said, I looked to see Ritoru had his dark blue hair back and sky blue eyes, I looked at myself to see my scarlet hair again and i let out a sigh of relief.

Rozu handed my hand " Come on! " She said " Where? " " To remind the others about the game! " she replied before dragging me out of the room " Be careful remember what happened last time! " Kasai yelled out to us as Rozu lead me to the rooms. I was dragged along as Rozu stopped at the first door and knocked. The door opened to see Misuti, Rozu's partner there " Oh, Your back, " He said as he looked at me " Why can't you notice me first whenever i knock, " Rozu said " Because your usually yelling, " Misuti answered her " Well.... I just wanted to remind you something! " Rozu said " And it is? " He said " Its that i lost the game! " She said to him, Misuti seemed to face palm " I lost the game, " He said " To the next room! " Rozu said to me, Misuti looked at me " Be careful around Kumo, " He told me before closing the door shut.

Rozu dragged me to the next room but instead of standing in front of the door she stood near the side a step away from the door before knocking, the second the door opened a book flew out and hit the wall " Begone spirit! " someone shouted from the room, Rozu was actually quiet for a moment before a head popped out of the door way and looked around. It was Ryuu, he spotted me and Rozu " Who is it!? " Someone yelled in the room " Its just Akane and Rozu! " He called back before he looked back at us " Is there something you both need? " Ryuu said taking the book off the floor " Yeah. can you tell Mara that i lose the game? " Rozu asked him, Ryuu stared at us a minute before giving a small smile " I lose the game and yes i'll tell her, " He said " Thanks, " Rozu said as Ryuu disappeared back into his and Mara's room. As me and Rozu continued we ran into Airi " I lose the game, " Rozu told her, Airi sighed " I lose the game.... I need a break, " She said.

The last door we came to was Kumo and Mizu's room, Rozu knocked gently on the door this time. The door opened to reveal Mizu and Kumo there " Hey, " Mizu said in a calming tone " Hey to you too. Um, I got to tell both something, " Rozu said " Yeah, what? " Kumo asked crossing her arms " I lost the game, " She said. Mizu's eyes widen before looking at Kumo who had her eyes closed " I lose the game.... Someone is about to died, " She said opening her eyes again " Oh! look at the time, we have to go! " Rozu said running off with me being dragged behind with her. Kumo started to go after us " You two aren't going anywhere! " She shouted, by her shouts the other doors to the room opened to see what was going on and they watched me and Rozu run away. Looking at the time as me and Rozu were running it was night time but it didn't matter to Rozu because she ran right out of the building soon with me behind her. How did i get dragged into this? I questioned myself.
