Ritoru looked at me " What is it? " He asked me " Oh, Nothing! sorry I was just daydreaming, " I said, Kasai looked at both of us " If you follow me to the third floor I can show you what we do, " He said, Rozu's eyes sparkled " Can I come! " She asked " Not today this mission will be easy, " Kasai respond " Mission? " I asked confused, Kasai nodded " I can't show you the ropes without first going on a mission, " He said. He started to walk again Me and Ritoru followed after him " Let the pineapples be with you! " Rozu said from down the hall " What the.... " Ritoru murmured but Kasai heard him " Don't mind her Rozu really likes pineapples, " He said. Kasai turned the corner " So what floor does Herns work at the most? " Ritoru said trying to change the subject now " Usually the third floor, " Kasai replied quickly as we walked the next flight of stairs " Some People say Hern work alone but not really we each have a partner together, " Kasai added " Who is your partner? " I asked him " Airi Chika, " Kasai replied quickly this time as we made it to the third floor " This place is big, " I said as we walked down the hall. even if you couldn't see into the rooms yet the hallway was big, Kasai nodded before stopping at a door, the door was a silver color and the knob was a light gray. Kasai turned the door and walked in quietly, Me and Ritoru followed But soon we stopped as a bright flash of green lights started to flash in the dark room they had entered " What.... " I muttered as i adjusted to the green lights but it wasn't lights, all the lights were off the green lights was coming from a big machine " Hey, " A new voice said, a hand touched my shoulder. I spun around quickly the hand that was on my shoulder went away I saw a man " You probably thought i was a ghost, " The person said, I Couldn't tell what the person looked liked clearly enough with the green lights seeming to flash every 3 seconds " This is Ryuu Hino.... he has a thing with popping out of nowhere, " Kasai said letting out a small sigh, Ryuu grinned " That's me, " He said, Ritoru wasn't paying attention to him " What are these, " Ritoru said as he looked closely at the green flashes of light from the machine, he reached his hand out slowly " Stop! " Ryuu said loudly to Ritoru who seemed to stop immediately at the shock of how loud Ryuu was.

" That was close, " Kasai said seeming to face palm in the dark room " What do you mean? " I asked confused Ritoru seemed the same way as me " These are chips, " Ryuu said to us as he walked up to the large machine " And each chip has a portal, " Ryuu added " To the other worlds? " I asked and Kasai nodded " We Herns go to these worlds like the other units do sometimes, But we have a very important job, " Kasai said as he walked up beside Ryuu " Without Herns none of the other worlds could work properly, " Ryuu said " I didn't know that.... " Ritoru said " Not many people do, " Kasai said as he glazed at the chips in the machine, As i took a closer look i saw a lot of different chips in different slots of the machine. Kasai reached his hand to the machine and clicked something on it before taking a chip out " If a chip is out of the machine for a ever long time then we have a problem But that won't happen if we put it in the other machine or Potaru which we call it, " He said " What is this machine called? " I asked them " Koneko, " Ryuu said " You named the machine Kitten.... " Ritoru said " We can call it what we want, Plus Koneko wouldn't dare hurt anybody, " Ryuu said a bit mad " Come with me, " Kasai said to us.

Walking out of the room took a minute since our eyes had to adjust to the lights that were on in the hall, Kasai didn't seem brother and waited for us to get use to it " Have a good time! " Ryuu voiced sounded from the other side of the door " What's with Ryuu and the name Koneko? " I asked Kasai who shrugged " Don't know but he gets defensive if someone doesn't like it, " He said before walking down the hall as he knew we were fine with the lights again. Keeping Pace behind Kasai we finally stopped at a new door, it was a pale gold color and the knob seemed to be made of birch wood, Kasai opened the door. The door squeaked a bit as he made his way inside with us, the lights were on in this room which was fine but what was in it was strange, the room was big, the walls were gray like the people making the room didn't have time to paint them, computers were scattered and place on the left side of the room, I saw the same machine from the last room here but it smaller and placed on the right side of the room, wires on the floor all connected to what seemed to be a large mirror on the floor " It isn't much, " A voice said. I looked to see a women, her long blond hair was put up in a bun and she had indigo eyes " Airi, " Kasai said in greeting But Airi looked away back to a computer she was at " She is my Partner if i haven't told you already, " Kasai said, I nodded remembering him say something about Airi earlier, Ritoru looked at the panel Kasai soon followed his gaze " Okay enough with getting off task, let me put the chip in, " He said, he walked up the small machine before adding in the chip. The machine seemed to turn on the second it was placed, The Mirror started to glow a bit before suddenly the room started shaking I closed my eyes thinking it was a earthquake but soon the room stopped shaking, I opened my eyes and gasped as i saw a door was in the middle of Large Mirror on the floor. The door seemed to float a couple inches above it, the door was was big and light blue and was a bit fancy looking, the words on the Door Said Free!. I looked at Kasai who was already walking to the door " Do you want any Hensos? " Airi said to us " Hensos? " I said confused " I mean Disguises, " she said " No this world is okay, " Kasai said " How? " Ritoru asked " Worlds are classified from A, B to C. A means Easy, B means be Alert and C means Dangerous, we're going to a world classified as A, " Kasai replied " Now follow me, " He added opening the door, He vanished the second he stepped in, Ritoru followed vanishing as well, I walked to the door, I glanced back at Airi she was looking at me coldly but soon looked away, I turned back to the door, the second i walked in it felt as if water was hitting then i found myself closing my eyes.

I opened my eyes the first thing i noticed was i was in a small room, I saw a broom in the corner " I'm in a closet. " i thought, i tried to move but felt something next to me but before i did anything the door to the room swung open and i fell out, Two other people fell out with me It was Kasai and Ritoru " Why are you kids in the closet? " The man that opened the door asked us, I froze. Kasai reacted first " We got lost, " He said getting up, The man rolled his eyes before walking away " I'm not getting paid enough right now to do this, " He muttered, Kasai helped me and Ritoru off the floor. As he helped Ritoru i walked to a window and looked out " Wow.... " I thought, Someone walked up to me it was Kasai and Ritoru " We aren't in maylin anymore, " Ritoru said " We are in the world called Free and we landed at Iwatobi high school, " Kasai said before he turned around " Its time to get to business, " He added a bit loud which got a few glances from the students in the hall at us " I wonder what's going to happen next, " i thought as me and Ritoru walked after him.
