Trusting is hard
Maybe not for you but some it is
The fear of getting hurt too strong
The fear of losing what is loves is also too strong
The fear are chains
Locking the heart away from things it holds dear
Hiding the pain and insecurities it feels
The Lips Lie
Smiling like everything is fine
Smiling all the time
Even when the person wants to cry
Bravery is complicated
The human emotions making it too hard to decide
Whether to be afraid of strong
It's a maze
So many walls and traps
Keep safe what lies inside
It's difficult both ways
To let people in and out
But the heart never learns its mistake
The same mistakes
That made trusting hard in the first place.
