Chapter 5 :
Maggi's POV
It's been a month since I officially became one of them. It was great, actually. Being popular, to be a role model and they are actually good friends.
"Earth to Maggi!" Regina snapped
"H-huh?" I asked confused
"You've been spacing out for .." she said and take a look at her wristwatch and said "8 minutes."
"Err. Sorry?"
"Anyway, let's go to the cafeteria, the others are already there."
I nodded and made our way to the cafeteria. As we walked, all the students are looking at us. I really got used to this.
"Hey." I greeted Megan and Dianna, as soon as i spotted them.
"Why are you so late?" Dianna asked
"Just fixing some things." i excused and they nodded. Seriously? They bought it?
We ate in silence and after a few more minutes, the bell rang.
"Let's go?" they asked I nodded.
We went to the classroom and sit at our usual seats. After few more minutes, our professor arrived and started the discussion quickly.
After 2 more subjects, class is done. I bid my goodbye to my friends and decided to go home. I was walking at the hallway when a nerd girl bumped unto me.
"Watch where you're going, loser!" I yelled at her. She muttered a thousands "sorry" and then walked away. I looked at her again and realized that she was the girl whom we bumped at the canteen.
I went to the parking lot and hopped in, in my car and went home.
"Hey sweetie!" my dad greeted me. I just smile at him and head to my bedroom. I put my bag on the table and got my iPhone. I scan my musics and decided to play Timber.
"It's going down! I'm yelling timber! You better move, you better dance!" I sang and do a little dance steps.
"Maggi! Dinner's ready." i heard my dad yelled from downstairs.
"Coming." I replied. I fixed myself and head downstairs.
I sat on the table and saw that there are pizza, fries, chicken, pasta, and many more.
"Wow! What's the occasion, dad?" I asked, obviously amazed by the number of food.
"Nothing, just happy because I got the wonderful daughter in the world." he replied, smiling.
"Hahaha! You're so cheesy!"
"Haha, okay. Well anyway, hows you're day?"
"Fine, and the students, really treat me well. They treat me like a princess."
"Wow! So.. No haters?" he asked. I stopped. Do I have haters?
"Of course none. They love me"
"Okay, if you say so. But remember honey, you will be more popular if you don't have a hater." he said, I nodded in return and continue eating.
After eating, I went upstairs and lie on my bed. The thought kept running on my head, do I have haters? There's only one way to know. I feel my eyelids getting heavy and I let the sleep took over me.
