Chapter 3

Sarah's POV

•Flashback to Grey's flat•

"So... What should we do now?" Grey asked, motioning towards Ayan and Natsu who just went outside to practise.

"I don't know. It's your house." I said, trying to look anywhere but his eyes cause I knew I would melt at the sight of them.

"What's wrong?" He said, noticing I was avoiding eye contact.

"N-Nothing," I said, flustered.

"Mhm... Wanna play some video games?"

"Do you have Smash Bros?"

"Obviously." He chuckled, making my heart flutter. I've come to terms that I do indeed like Grey and its weird since I didn't believe in 'love at first sight'.

We played smash bros for few hours, getting tired. We playfully shoved each other when we cheated and the little touch sent a zap through my whole body.

"So um... What now?" I asked him since Natsu and Ayan were still not here.

"I don't know, talk?" He asked curiously.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"You."

"Okay, well my step-sister is Ayan and we live together and take care of each other. She's a little bit older than me. Our family lives elsewhere so we had to transfer."

"No... That I know. I want to talk about you." He scooted closer to me emphasising 'you'.

"And what about me?"

"Well, you're not like normal girls."

"Oh, and is that a bad thing?"

"No, you're mysterious. And I think you're the only girl who hasn't flung herself at me."

"Well sorry I have a self esteem then." I said, spite in my voice.

"That's not what I mean."

"Then what do you mean?"

"See, you're really mysterious. And you're the first girl who can actually talk to me and be my friend."

"Barely..." I whispered under my breath.

"Wanna listen to some music?"

I nodded and we listened to Panic! At The Disco and Sleeping with Sirens. The song Scene 3- Stomach Tied in Knots came on and that's exactly how I felt about Grey. Before we knew it, we were passed out in living room next to each other.

•Present Time•

Ayan's POV

I threw myself on my bed and sighed. Sarah was in the kitchen cooking but I was too tired to do anything since I spent all day practising with Natsu. Natsu... Just by his name my heart flutters a little and I brighten up a little. I think about his smile, his laugh, his idiocy and I giggle a little.

"What's so funny, Ayan?" Sarah asked, coming in my room with two ramen noodle cups and two energy drinks.

"Natsu."

"Oh." She smiles and waggles her eyebrows at me.

"What?" I say, confused.

"Come on! It's obvious that you really like him." I blushed, making her even more confident. "See!"

"Okay, okay. I like him. And what of you and Grey?" She almost spits out her ramen and I smile.

"There's nothing between us."

"Yeah, right." I scoff. "You like him too."

"Ugh, I hate how you know me like the back of your hand!" She said, flustered.

"It's okay, so what if we like them?" I smiled as we ate noodles and watched Netflix.
