Chapter 5
Sarah's POV
"...WTH!!" Ayan screamed really loudly. I chuckled a little. She swayed a little but she her hands on her knees, regaining her breath.
"And the 'rents were just okay with this?" She asked breathlessly.
"Yup. Turns out they're friends of Natsu and Grey's parents." I answered gleefully.
"Okay... Well, I'm going to my room. See you tomorrow." She magically made her laptop appear in her hand and limped up the stairs to were her room was supposed to be.
"Not used to changes is she?" Grey asked, a bit closer than usual.
"Not at all." I laughed as I heard her cursing in French up in her room. Natsu went back to his room so Grey and I are left in the living room.
"So... What now?" He asked.
"We're always asking that aren't we?"
"No harm in asking."
"Yup." I bit my lip nervously as I readjusted my llama hat. I suddenly got a text message from one of my friends from my old school.
'Hey, Sarah. It's ______, it's not fun, to be honest, without you here.' It read. I smiled and quickly replied saying I'd visit them soon.
"Who was that?" Grey asked curiously, hurt showing a little in his eyes.
"Oh, no one." I decided to play a little with him. I skipped away from him.
"Tell me~!" He whined, catching up with me.
"Nope." I giggled and moved away.
"Stop moving!" He caught me by my waist and turned me to face him. Our eyes locked and we inched closer to each other, painfully slow.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
I looked down at my phone, awkwardly detaching myself from Grey. Ayan texted me and it read: 'I can hear you from upstairs, broski.' I blushed a little and went up to my room before Grey could protest. How am I supposed to face him after we literally almost kissed?? I flopped myself on my bed an closed my eyes, frustrated. I could hear Ayan's screamo music from next door an I hummed along to Alone by Sleeping With Sirens until sleep overtook me.
Ayan's POV
I bobbed my head to Sleeping with Sirens and Pierce the Veil. I was really confused right now and music was my only answer go everything. I could hear Sarah and Grey from downstairs and I sent her a little text since my head was really killing me. Those douches really hurt me bad.
I groaned as I turned around on my bed willing sleep to din me but it didn't. I just turned on Netflix and put Ponyo on. Natsu silently walked into my room and watched Ponyo with me. I laid my head on his shoulder subconsciously and I finally fell asleep in peace next to Natsu.
