Chapter 4
Sarah's POV
It was Saturday and Ayan and I just got back from visiting our parents. We played games and all but they didn't get the fandom jokes. I mean, who doesn't know top bunk/bottom bunk? We were walking down the street when Ayan gasped. She looked at me with wide eyes and dragged me to the luminescent GameStop. I reluctantly followed as we walked into the slightly empty GameStop. Ayan marvelled at the new Assassing Creed and God of War. She payed for them and her eyes twinkled with excitement through her glasses. I could never understand her love for video games. I mean, we just got the Playstation 4 but I had to pull her away from the Xbox One.
We walked down the somewhat dark barren streets when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and Ayan was being held by two guys and she had a terrified look on her face. The guy who tapped me grabbed me by the waist restricting me from moving. I was trying to move but one of the guys punched Ayan and she sputtered blood making me freeze.
"YOU FRICKING JACKASSES!! GET THE HELL OFF OF MY BAND MERCH!!!!" She screeched at the top of her lungs. I smiled as the two guys rubbed their hot hands, dropping Ayan. She lit their jackets on fire which caused them to run away screaming. I smirked and concentrated. I froze the guy who was holding me's hands and he ran away terrified. I high fived Ayan and she scooped up her games, dusting off her favorite Sleeping With Sirens shirt.
"Woah! Are you guys okay?" I heard Grey's familiar voice and I saw Natsu and Grey running towards us.
"S-Sure." Ayan shivered. I suddenly felt very exhausted as if the energy was sucked out of us. Our bracelet and necklace glowed brightly and we simultaneously collapsed. Natsu and Grey caught us before we hit the pavement and all I remember was Grey's beautifully concerned face inches near mine.
Ayan's POV
I woke up with bright lights hitting my face and a familiar pink haired boy staring down at me worriedly.
"Um..." I said, awkwardly.
"S-Sorry, Yani." He said, twiddling his thumbs.
"Yani?" I asked, raising my eyebrow. Only Sarah and my parents called me that.
"Oh, I just thought it was cute." He bit his lip, looking around the room.
I tried to get up but a piercing pain went through my waist and head. The memories of what happened earlier flooded back. These guys were trying to kidnap or kill us so one of them punched me in the stomach and head. I groaned and whimpered a little and laid back on the bed.
"Relax." He softly pushed me back and tenderly fluffed up my pillow. I realised that I was in Natsu's room. I looked around and there was band posters, anime posters, and video game posters. His room was neat and the walls were a light shade of red.
"What happened? Where's Sarah?" I asked.
"She's with Grey." He said, looking into my eyes. I got up despite his pleas and found Sarah. Thankfully, she was okay but she was really upset when she saw me.
"Ayan! What the hell!" She ran up to me and supported me up. I started feeling a little better since my bracelet was using healing magic to slowly ease my pain.
"I'm fine. I'm feeling better, really." I said, trying to convince them when really, I was in the worst plain ever and I may have cracked some ribs.
"No, you're not." Sarah said. "I can see right through you." Damn.
"We've decided something..." Grey traded looks with Sarah and Natsu making me feel uneasy.
"Well, we've decided to stay with Grey and Natsu until you get better. Natsu will stay with your during school time and we'll stay until you're feeling better." Sarah says in one breath. My jaw drops
"What about all out stuff?" I asked breathlessly.
"Oh, easy. Mum and Dad magically connected out houses together so that we have all our stuff." She smiled a little.
".... WTH!!" I screamed, trying to let all my emotions.
