A Love Like War -Kellic

Chapter 4

Kellin pov

So I just got to the venue we're playing at tonight I see the tour bus parked in the back so I go on to see if the guys are in there. Thankfully they are. So I walk up and onto the bus.

"Sorry we- KELLIN!" I heard Jack shout.

"Whazzz up" I said trying to be cool with my arm gestures and all.

"Guys! Kellin's here!" He shouts.

Then all the guys come trampling me from the back lounge. We all catch-up, I haven't seen them all since our last tour with was Warped tour two months ago. It's been close to an hour after our meet up, and no one noticed, I'm a little disappointed these guys are like my brothers and they don't care to notice, the ring on my finger.

"Ok what are we all doing for food" Gabe announced.

"Whatever you guys want" I state.

"Hey Kellin," Justin says so I look at him.

"Yeah, What up Justin?" I ask curiously.

"How are things with you want Vic? I know you called me the other day, saying he proposed or something?" He says. I started to blush a little.

"Well we worked things" I said with a smile and I held up my hand to show him the ring.

"Oh My God! Kellin!" He shouts, then hugs me. Which got the others attention too.

"What the hells going on?" Jack asks.

"Kellin here gettin' married!" Justin says loudly to them. Then he holds up my hand to show them.

"Very subtle Justin" I state.

"What!" I hear from he rest of the guys.

"Well it's true, Vic proposed to me" I tell them.

"Congratulations!" I hear from Jack and Gabe

"Congrats dude" Nick says.

After the announcement we finally went out to eat before we play the show in about an hour. While we were eating they ask me all sorts of questions. About Vic and I, how he proposed and all that. I told them the story, with us flying up to Seattle then Alex being there and me saying no at first, us talking it out after a while. Then finishing with me agreeing and then probably having the wedding in like a couple years. I got all kinds of reactions when I told them I said no. I think most were shocked I would say that, because of how much they know I love him and all. But once I explained everything, they understood.

But know that everything is all sorted out and we're fine I can laugh about it know. Although at that moment it wasn't funny.

"Hey we should get back the show starts in twenty minutes" I tell them. They all nod in agreement. We pay and leave.

When we finished the show I was really missing Vic. I know that he's still in Seattle, and I'm on the east coast, so I'm not sure when would be a good time to call him. I just really want to talk to him. Tell him all about today from the show to the guys reaction when I told them. There just so much to tell him.

"Hey Justin come here I want to ask you something?" I said to him.

"Yeah?"

"Um, I don't know how to say this with our playing favorites but you know that I love you all like brothers but I picked you, so would you like to be my best man/ man of honor?"

"Really? You picked me?" He asked. I nodded.

"Thanks Kellin, it means a lot"

"One thing, though, can you not tell the others until I do, which will probably be tomorrow" I say.

"No prob, dude" he says to me.

After that I went into my bunk and tried to sleep its been a long day. But after hours of trying to sleep, with my phone and laptop doing things to try and help me sleep, then I realized that I need to talk to Vic. His voice will help. So I open my phone and dial his number. He answers with in a couple minutes. And there's that voice I miss.

When we hung up the phone I felt so much better and I was finally able to fall asleep.

Vic pov

I arrived home in San Diego, I showered and took a nap cause I was really tired, then I called the guys to come over so I can show them the songs I've been working on. And so we can set the drums for Mike and the bass for Hime, and Tony and I can figure out guitar. They all arrived with the hour. They asked where I've been and how Kellin is. I told them that he left for tour yesterday.

They liked the songs that I wrote, they asked what they were about I didn't tell them, I'll let them think whatever they want about them. I'll tell them eventually just not right now.

We called it a night after four hours of organizing the songs out. We all agreed to meet up at the studio to record them in the morning. I can't wait to get this album out. It's taking forever. But that's also our or mostly my fault, I feel like the songs are never done or good enough. They have to be better then the last, it's just so hard when each album we keep setting the stakes higher and higher.

Although we did set a release date and we're going to talk it over with the label in the morning. We also think that since we owe it to our fans that the album has taken so long we're going to do a record release show. I don't know where yet it's just an idea we're throwing around.

I'm really missing Kellin, but I know he what has to do, it's his job and passion. Same with me, I love my band and would do anything for those guys. Kellin would do the same for this bandmates. So I can't keep him from doing what he loves. I just have to learn to deal with it. I know he misses me too, cause he keeps texting me that. But we've done it in the past, and we're going to keep doing it a lot especially when our new album comes out. We'll be on the road all the time.

Ok I know that this chapter sucked, and there's probably spelling errors, but I just really wanted to get something out to you all. I also thank you all for being patient with the story. It's just I'm really busy with college and life that I don't always have time to write. Just going to say this now, but once I finish this story I have another that I'm super excited about. The story will get better I promise but for now, thanks to all who read and stay awesome.
