Part7
Myungsoo and Na Eun sat down at the table. Na Eun started the conversation by saying "sorry".
"Why?" asked Myungsoo, puzzled.
"Sorry about before..." she answered, still not explaining fully why. "I don't think I understand what you mean, Miss Son Na Eun."
Na Eun looked up, "'Miss?' Why are you speaking so formally?"
"Well, since you're not answering, you must not want to be friends, right? Meaning we're strangers."
"No no! What I mean is, I'm sorry for saying we're friends even though we...really aren't."
"So you don't want to be? Fine I'll just—"
"No Kim Myungsoo!"
There was a long silence and throughout it, Myungsoo was gulping the coffee and smiling at Na Eun. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Because you're pretty."
"Sorry, what?" croaked Na Eun.
Myungsoo blink several times. He cleared his throat and said "wh- what I mean is um... You're prettier than usual when you ...er...are angry." Na Eun got up from her seat. "Since we've finished the coffee, I can go now, right?"
"Yes."
Na Eun walked to the door and turned around to say goodbye. "Oh and..."
"And what?"
"You're pretty handsome..."
"What?"
"You're even more handsome when you're lying." she added.
