Apparently, Luke's idea of a ride was a jet-ski. Who knew? I for one, have a strong fear of large bodies of water, lightning storms, and death, for some random reason.

Luke and Ethan hopped on the jet ski like graceful deer. I, on the other hand, barely managed to get my leg over without falling off. Despite my fear of water, I couldn't resist he idea of zooming across the ocean, and the sea spraying in my face.

As I predicted, the jet ski ride was one of the most amazing things I'd experienced in my entire life. The wind blew my long, wheat-colored hair from my face as I stared across the vast ocean. Frothy, white bubbles trailed behind us as we zoomed across the water.

Nobody talked much on the trip. And if Ethan and Luke said anything to each other at all I couldn't hear it because the wind was in my ears. Besides, I liked the silence. It gave me time to think about everything that happened yesterday. It was certainly a lot to take in. Learning that immortal, supernatural beings exist and you are related to one isn't something you hear every day. My life was pretty weird and complicated right now, but I had a feeling it was going to get a whole lot worse.
