Dad: *finally comes in* what is so important?!
Mum: I just wanted to tell you that you've been able to live this whole time with that Potter boy alive.
Dad: and?
Mum: that means you can spend more time with the one that would literally die for you. *is obviously talking about herself*
Dad: you're not jealous of the fact that the Potter situation got a lot of attention, are you?
Mum: I'm not.
Dad: are you sure?
Mum: I'm sure.
Dad: no you're not. I can tell.
Mum: yes I am.
Dad: no you're not!
Mum: yes I am!
Dad: NO YOU'RE NOT!
Mum: YES I AM!
Me: this whole thing was completely pointless.
Dad: it was.
