            "Sapphire get in here now!" I here coming from the other room. Dragging myself of the floor and away from my books I ran into the main meeting room. "Yes sir?" I said standing just outside the shadows. "Get your gear ready, I've got a mission for you." He said. I nodded and turned around heading for the door. "Oh and I want this one brought in alive." He called as I left the meeting room, heading for the armory to gather my mission and gear. "Always fun in paradise" I thought to myself with a smile.

 

Katanas Pov

            As soon as Peter managed to get e into the room he turned to me, "Katana you need to calm down, the last thing we need is your killing our only clue about anything. Unfortunately, the only info we have is only part of it and your mom..." "Stop don't, don't call her that she lost that right when she walked out of my life." I said trying my best not to yell. I was shaking like a leaf, half from wanting to kill and the other half because I wanted to break down and cry. "I, I know she was trying to protect me but she could have come back after I found my amulet." My walls were breaking and I began to cry. Peter pulled me close hugging me tightly he whispered, "look Kat both our lives are pretty screwed up, but what matters now is that I'm here and never leaving. I love you, and I promise to protect you, we will figure everything out. Together, one step at a time." Not knowing how to reply, I closed the distance between us, pressing my lips to his. He deepened the kiss, wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me closer. When we pulled apart I blushed still not sure of what to say to him. He just smirked, biting his lip daring me to kiss him again.

            We should probably head back, keep her waiting too long and she might leave again." I said pulling Peter behind me out of the room and into the living area once again.
