Chapter 19

I knew that something was about to happen and soon whether it was good or bad I don't know, I am seven weeks gone, and still no one has noticed anything thank god, Jacobs never left my side, he's in every class, walks me to each one sits with me at lunch, and drives me home I can't even book an appointment at the doctors so I can check on my baby, which I kind of hate seen as I can't drive my cars, though I kind of find it sweet but that's not really me, I think it's just hormones.

Max's POV

I can't believe Lexi found my family and that I have, five brothers, one of them being four years old and he's the cutest thing ever, we spent the last week trying to figure out a way for Lexi to stay safe trough this whole gang war, the boys have been coming round a lot and brought Jamie most of the time, some of the times they come over were discussing battle strategies other times I've been spending time with the boys and Lexi, I don't have a problem with her, just that Jacob never leaves her side which on her case must be annoying seen as she likes her own space but hey what can you do when your boyfriends father wants to kidnap you and marry you off to one of his sons, that must suck.

At the moment Lexi and I are sat in her living room waiting for the boys to show up, though something seems very off with Lexi, she appears to be eating way more than normal, she usually trains a lot rather than watching TV, or sat in the office trying to figure out ways to get rid of our 'problem'.

I turn my entire body to face her, she notices my actions and faces me too, I raise an eyebrow and she copies my action "Lexi are you alright you seem off lately you're not training much which is odd I thought with something like this getting so close you'd be training none stop?" I look at her curiously all she does in response is shrug I look at her carefully before turning back to the TV, none of this makes any sense she never shrugs at anything and she always has a response either sarcastic or rhetorical this doesn't make any sense I'm so confused and a little worried.

About twenty minutes after the conversation with Lexi, if that's what you would call a conversation, all the boys arrive like normal they barge through the doors running into the living room, and throwing themselves onto the couch Jacob sits next to Lexi slinging an arm round her shoulder as she snuggles into his side, I'm glad Lexi's found someone and I'm glad it's one of my brothers I just hope that he stays by her through all of this if not I don't care if he's my brother or not I will end him.

All night she's been acting weird and I still have no idea, but there are little things she does that she's never done before- eating lots of fatty foods- she's always healthy eating so she's fit for fighting, we have a probable world war three about to break out and in the past two months or so she's hardly been training- everyday she'd train now it once every two weeks all these things are leading me to think that, but it's impossible she can't be can she hasn't even- okay maybe she has but that doesn't mean she is but I need to make sure I need to talk to her, "Lexi can I talk to you for a second in private?" She turns to look at me slowly nodding I can see she's nervous at what I'm about to ask her.

Standing up I begin walking out of the living room quickly followed by Lexi, walking to the office I sit on the chair behind the desk, looking straight at Lexi "what's going on with you, you've been acting strange, to begin with I thought it was just nerves but then I spotted tiny things your hardly training and you're eating a lot more, to begin with I thought you were pregnant but that was a stupid thought" I laugh at the end but when I compose myself I look over at Lexi to see her standing stiff and wide eyed, at that point my eyes widen too, "Lexi please tell me you're not?" She turns her head and looks around the room, "nooo?" She replies and it sounded more of a question "your lying Lexi, I can tell when you're lying".

"Why didn't you tell me?" I look her in the eye and I see tears forming jumping up from my seat I rush to her side pulling her into a hug, "Lexi does Jacob know?" She pulls away from me shaking her head while wiping her eyes "no and I don't intend to tell him till this feud is over, so that means you can't tell anyone not even the other lads do you understand" she looks at me sternly, sighing I know all I can do is nod.
