Chapter 7

I didn't know exactly where we were going since Niall didn't want to tell me. It kind of annoyed me since I hate surprises. We kept driving until we stopped at a restaurant. I looked at the sign and it read 'Nandos'. I looked over at Niall and gave him a 'really?' look. From some 'research' I had to look up, I found out he LOVES Nandos.

"What?" He questioned giving me an innocent look. I rolled my eyes and reached for the handle.

"Wait!" Niall said.

"What?" I said turning back around to face him. He didn't respond. He just jumped out of the car and jogged over to my side of the car.

"I'll open the door for you." Niall said once he opened my door and held out his hand for me to take.

"Thanks." I said as I took his hand. It felt weird and and odd. We walked inside and the place was..empty?

"Niall?" I raised an eyebrow at him an he simply smirked. Cheeky boy I thought.

"Mr.Horan, its nice to see you again. This way." The man lead us to a table with a checkered table cloth with plates all set up. There was also a vase with a single rose in the middle. It looked kinda cute. Niall thanked the man and pulled out a chair for me to sit in.

"What would you like ?" Niall asked handing me a menu. I scanned the menu and everything was pretty much chicken.

"Uh..chicken?" I said as Niall let out a small chuckle.

"I'm sorry. I haven't really been here actually I've never been here."

"Well, then you have to try the peri peri chicken." Niall said taking my menu and calling the waiter nearby.

"How may I help you Mr. Horan?" A guy with dirty blonde hair asked.

"We'll have two Peri Peri chickens please." Niall said as he handed the waiter back the menu's.

"Coming right up."

"So, mind telling me a bit about yourself?" Niall asked once the waiter had left.

"Well, what would you like to know?" I replied.

"Whats your family like? Whats something you wish you could do? You know stuff like that." Hmm...what do I say?

"Uh..my family's nice I guess. I only have two brothers, Dylan and Zach. I wish that one day I could find a cure for cancer..yeah." I really actually did want to find a cure for cancer..you see my mom died from cancer and later on my dad did too so yeah.

"Wow, you really want to find a cure for cancer?" Niall asked obviously impressed.

"Yeah." The waiter returned with both our orders and all through the meal I got to know Niall a lot better. I must admit hes not who I thought he'd be.

"Lets go to the park!" Niall said once we finished our meal.

"Haha, okay." I said laughing at his child like behavior.

"C'mon! Sit." Niall instructed once we reached the swings.

"Hold on!" Niall said lifting the swing in mid-air.

"Ahhh!" I yelled once Niall let go. We swung for a little while until Niall wanted to play tag. I told him how competitive I get but did he listen? Nope.

"Its on!" I yelled chasing him around the playground.

"Niall....where are you..?" I said slowly walking.

"Right behind you." Niall whispered into my ear causing me to jump and let out a little shriek.

"Niall!" I whined hitting him in the chest.

"What?" Niall said trying not to laugh.

"Don't scare me like that!" I said pouting.

"Oh c'mon! You're still it!" Niall said running off again. After a while it started getting dark and we decided to leave.

"I had so much fun!" I said laughing all the way to the car.

"Me too!" Niall said unlocking the car. Through the entire car ride, we sand along to different songs that came on the radio.

"Thanks for an amazing day!" I hugged Niall and got out the car.

"Wait, Sky?" Niall said once I reached the front door steps.

"Yeah?"

"We should hang out again sometime." Niall said with a smile.

"Totally." I agreed walking inside the house. Once inside I kicked off my shoes and took a quick shower. I rummaged through my clothes and found some pajamas shorts and a regular t-shirt.

*Beep,Beep*

How'd it go with Niall yesterday?

To: Bestfriend Becky!

Fine. Before I forget, I have a few changes in the whole dating Niall thing. When can we talk?

Yes, I have a few changes. No, I'm not going to tell him the truth.

From: Bestfriend Becky!

Tomorrow we're coming over.

Great! Note the sarcasm. I decided to look through channels.

"...Ariana Grande's new song leaked?!" Nope.

"Joey.." Full House? Nahh.

"C'mon Patrick." Spongebob? sure. I watched some spongebob for a while and eventually I fell asleep.
