*Recap* 

"I'll have a double scoop of choclate and strawberry!" I said examining the different flavors.

"And I'll have a scoop of choclate." Xavier said handing the cashier money. Once we got our ice cream we sat at a table near the window.

"Mhmm."

"Delicious ice cream you got there?" Xavier said causing me to laugh a bit.

"Skylar?"

"Jay?"

"Uh..w-what are you uh..doing here?" I said stuttering a bit.

"We were suppose to hang out after school today so I texted you saying to meet me here." Oh shoot! How could I forget that I was suppose to hang out with Jay?!

"Jay, I-" I began before I was cut off by Jay.

"No! I see your here with Xavier! Did he ask you before I did? No, he didn't! Why don't you just tell him that hes been your crush since the 8th grade!" I knew Jay was furious but how could he just go and say that Xavier is my crush. 

"Jay, its not her fault. Its mine." Xavier said taking the blame. Aww how sweet! Not now conscious! 

"Shut up! You know nothing!" Jay said before punching Xavier in the jaw.

"Xavier! Are you okay? Jay how could you?" I sat next to Xavier who was rubbing his jaw.

"How could I?! How could you forget about you best friend! I've been there for you since as long as I can remember. I've helped you through so much! I kept all your secrets safe! I protected you! I trusted you! I..I forget it!" Jay said before exiting the store. I didn't realize I had been crying until I felt a hand rub a tear away.

"You okay?" Xavier asked in a soft voice.

"Yeah."

It was finally the day of the concert. Jay and I still haven't spoken since the small encounter at the shop. I was now rumagging through my closet looking for some 'concert' clothing. I decided on high-waisted shorts and tank top with an interwined heart and infinity symbol. As I got ready I got a text from 'Bestfriend Becky!'. Yeah. thats Modest! screen name.

 From: Bestfriend Becky! 

Todays the day. You know what to do. Good luck.

Good luck? Really? Ugh! I decided to watch some TV since it was still pretty early. I was flipping through dozens of channels until I heard my doorbell ring.

*Ding, Ding* 

"Hey, Sky." Tom said with a smile.

"Tom! Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you in a while! Come in!" I said opening the door farther so he could come in.

"So you been?" Tom asked taking a seat. Well, I have to fake date Niall Horan and he won't know about it. I'll get to meet him today and become friends. I also got in a fight with my best friend and my crush Xavier now knows I like him. I'm getting ready to go to a concert I don't even want to go to. So I'd say horrible.I thought to myself.

"Great, you?" I lied.

"Same. You headed anywhere tonight?" Tom asked seeing I was a bit dressed up.

"Uh, yeah just a concert." 

"Who's playing?" Tom asked picking up the remote.

"Uhm..One Direction." I said as he turned towards me.
