Summer break part 1

Sophomore year had finally finished thank god . The crew was planning on going to a college program (I know summer isn't until three months so) so we started packing for the trip "you almost ready Zoe " Zack asked from the bottom of the stairs "almost , I have a few more things to pack " I said closing up a bag full of snacks and books for the trip .( it's about a four hour drive so... yeah ) about ten twenty minutes later I had finished packing . I had decided to get ready since my friends were gonna show up soon . I changed into a black tank top and some jean shorts and some boots. Right when I had finished with my shoelaces I hear a beed outside. "Bye Zack " I said hugging him "bye Zoe have fun at the program " he said as I grabbed my bags " I'll try " I said and left . " ready Zoe " Nicole said in the passenger seat " yeah " I said throwing my stuff in the trunk and getting into the  back seat . The majority of the ride we were either asleep or talking and listening to music. When we had finally arrived on campus we signed in and got our dorm room keys . None of us had each other as roommates. When I had gotten to my room i had set up and put my books on the desk and unpacked my clothing and put them in the dresser saving about half of the dresser room for my roommate. She arrived about 40 minutes later " hi I'm Abby" she said as she started setting up stuff on her side of the room " hi I'm Zoe" I said "oh your that girl who has that YouTube channel with your friends .and you check out haunted places right??" She asked " uh yeah " I said looking up from the book I was reading " that's cool your videos are pretty cool " she said "thanks" I said smiling .
