The Weather of You

Your brown eyes,
I could describe them
forever.
They deserve a poem all to themselves,
because they're as predictable as the
weather.

They are calm in the morning,
with a chance of cloudy
sleepiness.
They are innocently present,
kindly greeting everyone with
easiness.

They are electric at noon,
and emit bright
light.
The brown– a splatter of green and gold specks,
a mix of passion and
might.

They are warm winds at sunset,
as lust blurs it's edges like a
fog.
They are dangerously quiet,
yet they soften imminently without
dialogue.

They are cool, lazy clouds in the night,
hanging protectively in the
sky.
They are caring, loving auras,
holding the stars close
by.

Your brown eyes,
are not simply
brown.
They are the skies and the clouds,
for they deserve my heart's
crown.
