Saturday rolls around and Isak's nerves are all over the place. He's never felt more nervous in his entire life and the pure thought of going on a date with Even is freaking him out, but in a good way because he's pretty excited about the whole thing. Isak has been preparing for hours. He's done everything from planning his whole outfit several times over to looking up different kissing techniques if he gets lucky or he hopes to.

Isak notices that it's already 6:20 and Even is suppose to pick him up at seven, but he still hasn't gotten ready yet. He scrambles out of his bed, grabbing his clothes that he picked out and bolts to the bathroom and jumps in the shower. Isak takes the fastest shower he has ever taken, scrubbing furiously and rapidly. He gets out and grabs his towel, drying himself. The warmth of the hair dryer blows through his hair, giving his blonde locks a bit of shine. Isak brushes his teeth, making sure he has fresh breath. There's nothing worse than stinky breath in Isak's opinion.

He puts on his black collared shirt and buttons it up. His favourite jeans go on next because he thinks that they make his ass look good. The shoes being Converse and his jacket, an olive green bomber jacket. He takes one last look in the mirror and he smiles, happy with his look. Isak opens the bathroom door and walks out but not before bumping into Noora, who was looking at her phone. "Oh sorry, Noora." Isak apologises, stepping around her.

"What are you all dressed up for?" Noora asks, raising her eyebrow because Isak doesn't really do this. A smile form on Isak's lips, due to him feeling genuinely happy. "I have a date tonight." Noora's eyes widen at the news and she runs over, tackling Isak with a hug. "Oh my god, I'm so happy for you. It's about time you got out of the house and went on a date." Isak laughs and pokes Noora in her side, trying to get her off of him. "I do get out of the house, Noora. I'm not a complete recluse."

"Yeah, for school and the gym, but other than that, you're pretty much here all the time. You don't even really hang out with Jonas anymore and he's your best friend." Isak frowns, realising what Noora saying is the truth. He doesn't mean to not hang out with Jonas, he just doesn't want to see other people sometimes and that can be a hindrance sometimes, perks of having depression and being an introvert...whooo. "I know, it's just been a little weird lately and I'm just trying to sort it out." Isak replies, not wanting to look Noora in the eyes.

"And that's okay, if you need to figure stuff out, then you do that. I'm just worried because I care about you, you're like the little brother I never had." Noora places her hand under Isak's chin, lifting his head and their eyes meeting. "I just want you to be happy." Noora gives him a small smile, which Isak returns before pulling her into a hug. "Thank you, you're like the big sister I've never had and I really appreciate that." Isak pulls away and gives her a small smile. "You're welcome, Isak." Isak notices the clock on the wall, reading 6:50 pm and begins to start freaking out again.

"Shit!" Isak turns around quickly and runs to his room, hurriedly finishing getting ready. Isak checks his phone and sees that Even texted him that he's on his way, Isak remembering that he texted Even his address yesterday. Noora pokes her head in the doorway, a big smile on her face. "Isak, there's a cute boy at the door waiting for you." Isak's eyes widen but he's also secretly glad that Eskild isn't home right now because he would make a huge deal out of this. "Thanks" Isak tells Noora before spraying on some cologne.

The journey to the front door feels like an eternity, but in reality, it only lasts a few seconds. Hearts beating rapidly, palms sweating, nerves firing and that was just a few of the sensations that Isak and Even were experiencing the second they saw each other when Isak walks around the corner of the hallway, facing the front door. Even's hair brushed back into pure perfection, giving off some James Dean vibes. A smile breaks out on each other's faces, their nerves diminishing. "Hey" Isak says, breaking the silence.
