Chapter 15: The Berries

    Harper, Finn and Bellamy walked everyone to the drop ship and laid them on their sides to get all of the blood and fluid drained.

I finally woke up and saw people all around me.

I jumped up "what is going on?"

Bellamy looked at me. He ran over and gave me a hug.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"What? I'm fine did I miss something?"

"Do you not remember the pool of blood coming out of your mouth?" Harper said sarcastically

My eyes widen "pool of blood!?"

"Guess not." Finn said chuckling to himself.

"That doesn't matter what does matter is that your okay." Bellamy kissed my temple and he hugged me as tightly as he could.

"Please don't ever scare me like that again." Bellamy said.

"Okay I'll try not to." I smiled.

"So how did this happen?" I said motioning my hands to all the people on the floor.

"Berries. They were poisonous." Harper said.

"Luckily they weren't life threatening." Finn said.

"Yeah." I said rubbing my head.

"What's wrong?" Finn asked.

"It's just that was most of our food supply."

"Those berries might have been poisonous but now we know which ones they are so we just don't pick those right?" Harper said.

"Yeah I guess. We should go pick some different ones before they all wake up." Finn suggested.

"Yeah we should. I'll stay here and watch them. You and Harper go pick some more berries."

Finn and Harper nodded their heads and walked out.

I grabbed a damp cloth and started to wipe everyone's bloody mouths.

"Here let me help." Bellamy said.

I smiled as I gave him a cloth.

"So were you scared?" I asked him.

"Scared?"

"Yeah for me possibly dying?"

"Of course I was. I couldn't lose you not again." He smiled at me and grabbed my hand.

"Well I'm glad we're on the same page."

He laughed and he kissed me.

"Thank you." He said.

I chuckled "for what?"

"Not dying."

I rolled my eyes and kissed him again.

When I broke apart his mouth had was pouring blood.

My eyes went wide and I put the cloth to his mouth.

"Lay down Bellamy it looks like the berries are getting to you now."

"Okay but I'm really tired." He said.

"Yeah just get some rest Bell."

He laughed, he was starting to be delusional.

I walked away to get him some water but he grabbed my hand.

"Princess?"

"Yeah Bell?" I asked.

"I love you."

I didn't know what to say.

"You're delusional Bellamy go to sleep."

"No, no I really mean it."

"Okay just get some rest."

"Okay goodnight Princess."

"Night Bell."

I got up and rung the bloody cloth out. Was it true? Did the berries make people say what they really feel.

Oh God what did I say!?

A few hours past and one by one everyone was feeling better.

"Are you sure you don't need anymore rest." I asked Jasper

"I'm good thanks (y/n)."

"Okay."

Everyone left besides Bellamy because it hit him after everyone else.

I sat there rubbing his forehead hoping he would feel better soon.

"Hey we found some berries but we don't know if they're poisonous." Harper said holding a bag full of red berries.

"Let me try them." I said.

I picked one up.

"No!" Finn said as he slapped it out of my hand.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"If you eat it and it makes you sick who's gonna take care of you?" Finn said.

"Good point."

"I'll try it." Finn said as he took the berry in his hand and ate it.

"It might take awhile. It took me an hour before I started to get sick. Just stay here so I can check up on you okay?"

He nodded his head.

Harper went outside to work.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked Finn

"Sure. What's up?"

"What did I say when I ate the berries?"

"Well you told me I was your best friend and said that Bellamy was your boyfriend. Stuff we already knew." He winked

"Oh good I was afraid I said something wrong."

"Why would you think that?"

I looked over at Bellamy to make sure he was sleeping "Bellamy told me he loved me." I whispered.

"Wait really!?" He yelled.

"Shhh keep your voice down and yes he did. Do you think he meant it?"

"I don't know I'm not Bellamy. You might have to ask him when he wakes up."

Bellamy stood up

"Ask who what, when they wake up?"
