I still can't believe Kevin and Moose were the one's to find Jason's body, "are you sure you're not traumatized for life?" I asked my brother for the hundredth time as he ignored me for the ninety-ninth time. "Kevin!?" I groaned as he walked off, leaving me there, as I watched him leave, my eyes landed on Jughead speaking to Archie, well that's something you don't see everyday, at least not anymore."Can I talk to you?" I jumped at the voice coming from behind me, making my books fall to the ground with a thud, everyone looked over simultaneously, only to go back to the previous actions when they saw that I had just dropped my stuff. "About what?" I asked, knowing it was Reggie behind me, I bent down grabbing my books, as he did the same, handing them to me. "Thanks." I mumbled, standing back to my full height. "What did you want, Reg?" I asked again, shocking myself with the old nickname, he seemed a little taken back by it too. "About the other night, at Cheryl's." He stated, quietly, as if everyone didn't already know we made out furiously in Cheryl's closet. Well, Kevin doesn't know, at least I think he doesn't, but that's besides the point.
"What about it?" I raised my eyebrows, he looked around before letting his eyes rest on me, I had a feeling that I wasn't going to like what he said. "It can't happen again." It took me a second to process what he said, and I don't know why I cared that much, it's not like I like him or anything. "Fine by me." I put on a brave face, I saw his jaw slack slightly at my I don't care personalty, "did you expect me to be begging you to stay?" I remarked when he stared at me. "No." He replied, giving me a final look before rolling his eyes as he left, jerk.
I watched him join up with his group of friends, Jughead started walking by and Reggie intentionally hit his shoulder against Jughead's. It's like he knew I was watching, and knew I would be mad. "Watch it Wednesday Adams!" He snapped, I slammed my locker shut at his words, couldn't he be nice for once in his teenage life.
My ears perked up as the loud speaker turned on, Mr. Weatherbee's voice coming across. "Good morning, students, this is your principal speaking. There have been many inquires about the upcoming pep rally, so let me state clearly, it is happening as scheduled." Great, I have to do our risque River Vixen's routine in front of the whole town. "Now, on a less felicitous note, if you could give your attention to sheriff Keller." Kevin and I looked at each other, sitting in the student lounge with Betty, not having a class just yet.
"Most of you already know the details, but your classmate, Jason Blossom's body was found by the river late Saturday night. So, as of the weekend, Jason's death is now being treated as a homicide. It is an open and ongoing investigation-" "And may I interject," I widened my eyes as Cheryl's voice came on, "neither I nor my parents will rest until my brothers death is avenged, and his cold hearted killer is walking the green mile to sit in old sparky and fry. I for one have my suspicions, hashtag Riverdale strong." She sounded as if she was finished, which was confirmed when my dad's voice came back.
"If you know anything that can help us find and apprehend Jason's killer, or anything about what happened to him on July Fourth, I strongly urge you to come forward immediately. Speak with me, or Principal Weatherbee, a death like this ruins us all, let's not let Jason down."

I sat down at one of the desks in bio class, grimacing at the dead frog in front of me, I watched as my friends all walked in slowly. "Seats everyone, paired up, gloves on, scalpels up." Our teacher walked in, looking flustered, "I'll be with Cheryl." Archie called, "and I want to be with Betty." Veronica said, grinning over at the blonde, "oh, I was thinking I'd partner with Kevin." Betty pointed to my brother sitting next to her, "actually, Kevin's with me, we-uh-like talked." Moose cut in, I laughed at Kevin's panicked face, "oh god."
I looked around to see only one person without a partner, you have to be kidding me. "Reggie with Jackie." The teacher called seeing neither one of us going for each other. "Uh, Mr-" "Now, Reggie." The teacher cut him off, Reggie muttered something under his breath as he made his way over to me. He sat down next to me and wouldn't even look in my direction, "well hello sunshine." I remarked, tugging my gloves on, "may I remind you, you're the one that decided to make this awkward by saying you never wanted to kiss me again." I whispered, looking over at Archie and Cheryl as she stabbed their frog viscously, saying something about being amazing. She doesn't seem like it, that's for sure.
