Lina's P.O.V

He was staring at Tawnie who was watching us

I sighed and placed my hand on his cheek

"Remington,come on, let's get out of here" I watched as he nodded and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"okay" he mumbled softly, looking down at me with a sad look on his face. I smiled and started walking to the front door with him before bumping into a woman with red har

Wait...red hair?

I looked closer and internally groaned as Tawnie spoke up

"wow you really downgraded after I left your ass didn't you?" she said looking me up and down with disgust. I felt Rem stiffen beside me but he stayed quiet."what?" she asked stepping towards Rem "cat got your tongue baby?"

Rem flinched away from her as she put her hands on his chest and soon after I surprisingly heard myself speak

"don't touch him"I froze as the words escaped my mouth and she looked down at me 

"what did you just say?" she asked, glaring at me. I gulped and looked down at my sleeve before once again looking up at her 

"I..I said d-don't touch him" she let out a harsh laugh before pushing me away from Rem

"and who the hell do you think you're talking to?" she sneered as I stumbled back a bit after another harsh push from her "huh?! What was that?" she asked again after I had chose to stay quiet. I looked up to see that her hand was raised and I immediately closed my eyes and flinched back,waiting for her to strike me but I opened my eyes slowly,feeling that nothing had come and I was quite honestly, shocked at the sight before me 

Remington had caught her hand and was now standing in front of me, glaring down at her as he pushed her hand away then looked down at me with a concerned look on his face

"are you alright princess?" I nodded, feeling my cheeks heat up

"Princess?" Tawnie laughed "I thought you lov-..wait.." she laughed again "I forgot about what you used to do" she narrowed her eyes at Rem as I felt him stiffen in front of me.

"I d-didn't do anything to you" Rem stuttered out, letting his composure fall. She smirked at him before speaking up again

"oh no you did but.." she trailed off, stepping towards him and putting her hands on his chest "you take me back then that'll allll go away" she purred,slowly unzipping his leather jacket.

I could see that Rem was clearly uncomfortable but as soon as I started to speak up so did he

"no" he said quietly

"excuse me? Did you just say no?" she yanked her hands away from him angrily then sneered at him "you are nothing  without me Remington Leith" she backed away from him "and I promis-"

"well you know what?!" Rem snapped at her,cutting her off as tears brimmed in his eyes

"I loved you Tawnie...with everything I had and you know what I hope?" he took a deep breath before staring her down "I hope that one day you will realize I did truly care for you. I promise you're going to miss me being there,putting up with you,refusing to give up on you. You're gonna regret everything you've done to me,including all the damage you've caused. And someday,you'll turn back and I won't be waiting for you anymore" he stopped for a minute and closed his eyes "I might have been worthless to you, but you'll miss me when I'm priceless to another..that is if I survive"  and with that he,with tears flowing down his cheeks, he let go of me and stormed out, leaving me along with everybody else, shocked.
