"The body was found this morning in the Smith household. The victims name was Timmy Smith and went to school at Stansberry Middle School, he was a stellar student and loved by many. We still do not know how and what killed him. The victim had small puncture wounds in his neck which is believed where he bled out of." The tv sounded off as Aaron got ready for school.

"Hey buddy don't forget your math homework you worked so hard on" said Aaron's father.

"I won't" Aaron said as he hastily shoved 10 books about vampires in his bag. Aaron hopped into his dad's car whilst hauling his nearly 30 pound bag behind him.

"Hey how 'bout that incident that happened last night, on the news, what do you think about that. Think it was vampires." Aaron's father chuckled as he said it.

"Ha, yea that story was pretty freaky. I'm gonna talk to others and see what they know. He went to my school." The car slowly came to a stop in front of Stansberry Middle School. Aaron said bye to his dad and made his way into the building. Immediately when he walked in the building he heard talk of the incident.

"Hey, did you hear about Tim and how a vampire drank his blood faster than a fat kid on free slurpee day" Aaron's best friend Logan said.

"More importantly, WHERE ARE YOUR EYEBROWS!!" Aaron yelled.

"I shaved them off because I wanted to run a faster mile time" Logan retorted immediately.

"I don't know if that was the smartest idea, to each their own" Aaron said doubtingly.

"We gotta get to first hour soon otherwise Mrs. Forge is gonna be triggered" Logan proclaimed.

"True that" said Aaron.

Aaron and Logan hastily made their way to class. How serious must this incident of been since everyone is talking about it, Aaron thought. If it was a vampire attack that sure would make for a killer story. Aaron and Logan took their seats as everyone started quieting down.

"Alright ya little menaces shut up and listen because we have a lot to go through before class starts. The annual nature camp out field trip is coming up and I'm gonna need these permission slips that Grace is handing out signed by next week." Mrs. Forge droned.

"Hey Aaron, you know who likes the dark."

"Who"

"VAMPIRES!!" Logan exclaimed.

"BOYS, if you have something to share maybe you should share it with everyone!"

"She asked for it" Logan whispered before he belted out "THE VAMPIRES ARE GOING TO FIND US OUTSIDE AND SUCK OUR BLOOD OUT TILL WE'RE NOTHIN' BUT CORPSES"

"LOGAN CHRISTOPHER JONES!! SIT DOWN THIS INSTANT. What you said was complete and utter absurdity. Vampires don't exist and the camp is going to be as safe as possible. Maybe if you put as much work into your school work as you do conspiracy theories you would not have a D in this class."

Aaron and Logan suffered through class until the bell finally rung. Right as Aaron and Logan sprung out of their seats thinking they were done, but they were wrong.

"Aaron and Logan, my desk right now! Can you guys be quiet so you know what the hell I'm saying, and Logan, don't make an idiot of yourself. Now scram."

"What's gotten into her" said Aaron.

"A DEMON MUAHAHAHA" Logan yelled through the halls.

Aaron was contemplating whether or not to go in the nature campout field trip. He didn't want to die but the idea of hunting down a vampire was tempting. "Hey Logan are you gonna go on the field trip".

"Of course, I'm gonna make that vampire a knuckle sandwich" Logan said confidently.

"Then I'll go to. We can hunt down that vampire. Come to my house after school so we can read my vampire books and study up." Aaron said.

The day droned on monotonously as always. It was finally time to go home. Aaron saw Logan outside by the buses talking to a shady looking guy.

"Hey Logan whatcha doing!"

"Aaron meet Rodger" Logan said sophisticatedly.

"Hey what's up!" The hooded figure named Rodger said in a raspy voice.

"I was thinking we would need some extra protection for the vampires and all. Rodger is gonna hook us up with some firearms." Said Logan.

Aaron pulled Logan aside quickly and aggressively. "Have you gone mental. We can't buy guns from this guy that's illegal and just plain crazy. If we shot a fine at the campout everyone would hear it anyways."

"Damn you're right" said Logan aggressively.

"I assume I'm of no need anymore" Rodger said.

"Yea" Aaron and Logan said in unison

Aaron and Logan got on their bus and got off at their stop in the front of the neighborhood. They both lived equal distance from the us stop. Logan went straight Aaron's house.

"Alright this is what I got" Aaron said as he unloaded his vampire books on the ground.

"Hey, did you know the word vampire originates from the Hungarian word vampir" Logan said sarcastically.

Logan and Aaron read all the books and did their homework. Logan left at 8:00.
