PROMPT:

You have been friends with mark and the others (like Tyler, Mark Bob and Wade Ethan later) since high school and liked Tyler for ever. Tyler and the reader just started dating officially a few months before they both moved out to L.A and are keeping it secret from everyone but the group and the reader starts to feel insecure, Tyler finally notices a little later and does something cute which leads to the fans finding out.(additional info. Reader is a popular you-tuber and has been doing videos and stuff with them for a long time, channel is gaming, art, music and other random stuff you can add.) Being friends with Mark, Tyler, Bob, and Wade for years should have been hard, all the boys seemed to never stop laughing and cracking jokes in all the years you knew them. It was a breeze, they where the best friends anyone could have ever asked for, they cared for you in your many ups and downs, and you where there for them when they needed you the most. You all had an unbreakable bond that kept you close, even when you all lived in different states. 

You had lived in Ohio with Tyler, Bob and Wade for a majority of the time, but a few years ago you decided to go to L.A to pursue your dream of creating a SFX makeup channel. You had heard that the master glamandgore lived in L.A, and you wanted to live closer so you two could callab more. It was an added bonus that Mark  lived there as well. 

You had already been flatmates with Tyler for a long time, and that caused you two to pursue a romantic relationship.

 Both you and Tyler wanted to keep the relationship a secret to avoid making Bob and Wade uncomfortable, you had hoped and thought that would have changed when Mark invited both of you to come live with him and this gave you both new opportunities.

"Tyler, its been 6 months. I think Mark and the others deserve to know."  You sigh into Tyler's neck. Thankfully Ethan was working late, giving you time to indulge in each others company.  You where in his room, snuggled into his side.

"I know, I know. I just, don't want the others to let it slip. I trust them, but it could still happen. I hated having to carefully calculate my words when Mark and Amy where dating." Tyler sighed, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head. 

"Ok, just another week. Its been too long." You sigh, closing your eyes.

"I promise, one more week. I love you." Tyler pulled you closer, showering your cheeks with kisses.

"I love you too Tyler." You giggled, capturing his lips with yours. 

"Very big thank you shout out to our food delivery gal!" Mark all but yelled as you and Amy divided up the food while Kathryn grabbed the plates. You let out a soft laugh, your eyes flicking up to where the boys were sitting, concentrating on their game, and the live stream. 

The stream ran later than you expected, Tyler had said it would only be a few hours. You where sleepily draped in a office chair, Amy and Kathryn where squished in the stream with the boys. 

It had come into a lull, the boys answering serious questions and giving deep answers. 

You where drifting off, half awake and half asleep. One question brought you back to waking. 

"Who is single on the couch?" Mark read out, looking at Amy with a soft laugh. 

"Obviously me, Kathryn and Tyler." Ethan scoffed, making you smile into the soft blanket Tyler had thrown over you. 

"Ha ha ha" Mark laughed slowly, sarcastically. You peeked your eye open, watching Tyler shift slightly uncomfortably. 

"Shut it Mark." Tyler scoffed, Ethan snorted.

"Nah uh! I don't listen to single people" Mark snorted, you felt yourself shift. Would Tyler say anything?

"Whatever dude." Tyler chuckled, "Maybe you might be quite for once." 

You felt your soft smile drop. Again? Really Tyler? Not even a sight hint of being with you? Was he ashamed of being with you or something? You bit your lip, feeling tears begin to form at the corner of your eyes. How could he see this as ok? You quickly wiped the tears from your eyes and hid yourself further in the soft blanket. You spent the remainder of the stream, quietly contemplating what you could have done to make Tyler not want to tell his best friends about you.

Was it your looks? Your attitude? Was he ashamed to be seen with someone like you? Old insecurities started to rise up again, making you feel worse and worse. You had to get out.

You got up, stretching and heading for the room downstairs, Tyler watched you go. You sat down  on the last step. Tyler joined you after a minute.

"What?" Tyler whispered, grabbing your hands. You sighed.

"Just... I don't know how much longer I can pretend I'm single. I love you so much Tyler and I can't keep this a secret from my friends any longer." You lent your head on his shoulder. He stayed silent for a long time. 

"I'm sorry. I just - With the whole youtube thing, it means there is more people who will be seeing us, and judging us. And if anything was to happen, I don't want to have to explain anything to complete strangers. I wanted to try keep our relationship private." Tyler explained, wrapping you in his arms, kissing your forehead. 

"I understand. Maybe tell our friends first, then we can decide if we want to go public later." You compromised, nuzzling into Tyler's neck. 

"Actually, no. Fuck it. I want to show off my beautiful girlfriend off to the world." Tyler spoke firmly. You drew back, confused. Tyler had a shit eating grin on his face which made you even more worried.

"Tyler?" You leant back, your only warning as his little giggle. He suddenly swung you up into a fireman hold. You squealed, drawing attention as Tyler climbed up the stairs.

"Jesus Tyler!" Mark yelled, before laughing loudly. Ethan snorted and basically fell off the couch. Amy and Kathryn covered their mouths and laughed silently. 

"TYLER PUT ME DOWN!" You screamed, laughing loudly as he presented your ass to the camera.

"Hey, I have a massive announcement you guys." Tyler spoke loudly as he slipped you off his shoulder and kept his arm around your waist. Your heart beat faster as he looked down at you. 

"Tyler?" Mark asked, his tone serious. You smiled softly at Tyler. 

"I have been dating Y/n secretly for the last 6 months. I love her very much." Tyler spoke firmly, before sweeping you into a passionate kiss. You broke off the kiss and buried your face in his chest, blushing and laughing. Tyler wrapped his arms around you, his laugh barely audible over the screams, whistles and yells of the others in the room. 

"I guess Stone-Face Tyler does have a heart after all." Mark joked, making you giggle softly.

"I gave that up ages ago, my heart belongs to a beautiful person." Tyler shot back sappily. 

"I love you, you big idiot." You gushed.

"I love you too, beautiful." Tyler kissed your nose.

"GROSS" Mark and Ethan chorused.

So uh. School is a bitch. So are guys. I really wish I had more motivation to write. I have a few more requests to write, but keep them coming!
