Hellowing Mountains, my home. The cold air surrounding me. The glistening snow falling onto my face. It's so beautiful and peaceful here. I got everything that I would need. I even have friends here too. I have known them since I was a little girl and they have been with me ever since.

I look for my two of my best friends, as I move across the snowy terrain. Then, I hear a twig snap from behind me. Its came from a fallen down log over there. So I slowly start making my way towards the fallen hollowed out log and peer into it.

"Found you."

"You found me again, Elizabeth."

"You need try to be more quieter Zeriel. Now where is Silver?"

"I have no idea. If you need help just let me know and I will help you."

"I know you're a dragon, but I think I can find Silver. Even Though he is a wolf, a naturally born for stealth, I am determined to find him."

"Ok"

I thought for a while of where he could be. I looked everywhere, eventually giving up and asked him to show himself. He came out from behind me.

"Oh, there you are."

"You need to be more aware of what is near you instead of what is in the distance."

"Alright, I will try harder next time."

"Let's start heading back."

As we make our way back to the cave, we looked for some food somewhere around us.

We ended up finding some berries to eat. There are not that many deer or rabbits up here in the mountains. It is too cold for them. So we have to manage with berries. Unless we travel toward the bottom of the mountains to get meat. But it is not safe for me to go near the bottom of the mountains. The only time I leave is when I go to the city to get supplies. I have to be very cautious when I do.

We make it back to the cave and I find my little pixie shivering, pixies are not use to the cold.

"Could you possibly start a fire Elizabeth?"

"Sure let me go get some wood. I guess we should have started a fire for you when we left. Sorry about that Mirabeth."

"It's okay."

I go back outside to collect some wood for Mirabeth. But as I am picking up wood, I stop. I sense something headed my way. I stay still and don't move. I get close to the ground and look around for anything out of the ordinary. Nothing. I no longer sense whatever that was. It was brief so I could have imagined it. So I just put it off like it was nothing and make my way back.

"I'm back."

"Finally." Mirabeth said while shivering

"I also brought back some more berries." I say as I get the fire started

"So how was your 'training'?"

"She is getting better, but she needs to be more aware of her surroundings." Silver says as he looks for his bone to gnaw on.

"Oh look at the moon, it's full." I say

"It's so pretty. I could stare at it forever. You know, it sort of reminds me of you in a way Elizabeth." Mirabeth says.

"Really? How so?"

"Well for starters, it is mysterious, like you."

"Oh I'm mysterious?" I say in a jokeful way.

"Well, you can be very mysterious in some ways without even realizing it."

"Really?"

"Ya, and you are both very pretty."

"You're such a weirdo."

"Thanks."

"Well we should probably get some sleep."

I curl up next to my dragon and close my eyes. As I'm fixing to fall asleep, Silver begins to howl at the full moon.

"Will you be quiet!" Zeriel roars.

"Sorry, it's a habit."

"Careful Zeriel. I don't want people to hear us." I say.

"Sorry, but i don't think people can hear us all the way up here." Zeriel says.

I giggle and tell them just go to sleep. Zeriel is my dragon. No one can understand him except me and my familiars. He is not an ordinary dragon. Zeriel can manage to change his size, from a normal size to the size of a baby dragon. He was originally a fire dragon but was banished to the tundra lands. He had to adapt to the cold weather. When he did he became a Ice Fire Dragon. Zeriel can breath fire and ice now. His scales turn white in the winter and during the summer they turn black. The cool thing about his scales is that they change gradually. When it is both cold and hot weather throughout the day like fall and spring, his scales will be both white and black. They are just patches everywhere. He can be very scary at times with those fluorescent purple eyes. I came across him when i was a little girl. He decided to take of me and teach me all sorts of things. Dragons are not known to be nice, but I am very glad that he took me in.
