Screams fill the air and she cries louder than she ever has before. They were taking him away, her only hope and joy.

" David!" she sobs

" Don't worry, I promise everything will be okay. Save her and don't worry about me. I love you." He says through tears.

He walks up to her holding a gun, his finger resting on the trigger. She pleads begging for mercy, for time to fix their mistakes. He doesn't listen, he fails to understand what he is doing. Drunk and angered he continues his actions.

" Please... Please don't do this" She sobs begging him to stop

His hand tightens on the gun, the gun now rests on Davids head. David cries and reaches over for Karens hands. He leans over and kisses her forehead.

" I love you Karen, don't you ever forget that." David whispers

Those were the last words to come out of his mouth. The gun was fired, David was gone. Karen stood there unable to move. His lifeless body fell to the ground, blood streaking his face. She screamed as the pain took over her. David was gone and there was nothing she could do about it.

Her chest heaved and she found it hard to breathe. She felt herself being consumed by the hole in her heart. Her mind began to fall into the darkness. They killed him. She was all alone, stuck in hell, unable to escape.

She was trapped in her own thoughts. The words played in her head ' I love you Karen, Don't you ever forget that' . No David I won't forget that, i promise you she thought. Every night she had cried herself to sleep but tonight was different. David wasn't there to tell her thing will get better. That night her heart broke and all of her joy and happiness drained out of her. She went to sleep hoping to wake up and find out it was just a bad dream. Hoping to wake up and see David lying beside her.
