It's been a couple days and Ray hasn't woken up Dr. Wells, Caitlin and Cisco are helping me with my speed we are currently in the middle of no where and I'm putting on a bright red thing someone in wrestling would wear I shake my head "How does it fit?"Cisco said and I go out wearing it with a helmet and knee pads "It's a little snug"I said "At least you'll be moving so fast no one will see how ridiculous you look"Cisco said "Okay so you thought the world was slowing down but it wasn't you were moving so fast it only looked like everyone was standing still"Cisco said "Dr. wells will be monitoring your energy output and caitlin your vitals"He said "What do you do?"I ask "I make the toys man check it this is a two way head set with a camera I modified designed to combat battlefield impulse noise or in your case potential sonic booms, which might I say would be so awesome"He said taking off my helmet and Caitlin comes up to me and I just look at how sad she is "What?"She asks "Nothing I just notice you don't smile"He said "Well my once promising career in bioengineering is over, my boss is in a wheelchair for life, the explosion that put you in a coma also killed my fiancé and my sister who I barely see as it is who I thought was dead for nine months is sitting in S.T.A.R labs in a coma herself, so this blank expression kind of feels like the way to go"She said and I feel really bad for her and she walked away "Mr. Allen while i am extremely eager to determine your full range of abilities, I do caution restaurant"Dr. wells said and I nodded "Yeah" I walk to the starter putting my feet on the starters and kneel down in running position I look back at them Dr Wells puts his sunglasses on and I look to the front of me again starting to run I can feel everything race past me the wind feels so free I feel like I'm at peace I run and run and run not even caring about anything I scream in excitement, I keep running and the night My mom died popped into my mind hearing my mom screaming my name telling me no seeing the man in yellow there I couldn't do it,
My eyes got blurry next thing I know I run into the things with water in them on the side of the road, I grunt in pain and I hold my arm in agony

"It looks like you had a distal radius fracture"Caitlin said "Had?"I asked "It healed in three hours"She said "How is that even possible"I asked "We don't know, yet"She said "You really need to learn how to stop"Cisco smirked holding up the broken helmet "What happened out there today?"Dr. Wells asked "You we're moving pretty well and then something caused you to lose focus"He said "I started remembering something"I said and everyone paused looking at me "When I was 11, my mother was murdered, it was late the sound woke me up I came down stairs and I saw what looked like a ball of lightning inside the lightning there was a man he killed my mom, they arrested my dad he's still sitting in iron heights for her murder, everyone the cops the shrinks they all told me what I saw was impossible, but what if the man who killed my mom was like me?"I asked "Well, I think I can say unequivocally you are one of a kind"Dr. Wells said, we heard loud beeping "Riley!"Caitlin said looking at her tablet and getting up rushing into the room with Riley in it "Hey hey hey"Cait said and signed to Ray which confused me then I realized she's deaf

I slowly wake up and I can hear the screams again I cover my ears and close my eyes feeling a dip in the bed I open my eyes and uncover my ears seeing Cait, Cisco, and Mr. Wells around me "Hey hey hey"Cait signed but I could also hear her talking it to which is impossible because I'm deaf "Cait"I cried and she hugged me and rubbed my back "Cait I can hear you"I said pulling away and she looked at Dr wells "You can hear us?"Cisco asked and I looked at him "I'm guessing that a yes"He said "This is crazy what is going on"I heard a voice that sounds like Cisco in my head "Wait shush for a second no one think anything"I said and I can still hear little things "Guys are you thinking anything?"I asked and they shook their heads "Cisco say something"I turned to him "Girl you are really freaking me out"He said "I can hear!"I said "Wait now think something no one else"I said "I'm am so confused"He thought "I can hear you"I said looking at him "Cait think something"She said "Ray I love you"She thought "Cait I love you too"I said "Oh my god Dr. wells it is really possible for her to be able and read minds?"Cait asked "I guess it is I mean before the particle accelerator exploded she couldn't hear at all but now she can hear and hear deeper then that which means their minds"He said, I looked at the guy behind Dr. Wells recognizing him and I turn to Cait "Who's that tall guy from I kinda recognize him"I signed "Oh that's Barry he said he saw you on the train he bumped into you"She signed "He's hot"I signed and she shook her head "Umm no signing you know I can't understand it"Cisco said "How long has it been?"I asked and they all stopped talking "How long"I repeated "Nine months"She said "How am I alive I mean Barry was hooked up to everything to keep him alive first at the hospital but then here"I said and they looked at me confused "How did you know that?"Cisco asked "What do you mean?"I asked "How did you know he was at the hospital first then here"Cait asked "Oh my god your the girl I saw"Barry pushed past Cisco "You had black hair"He said "She's a speedster"He added "What are you talking about?"Dr. Wells asked "I saw her when I was in the coma she had white and blue lightning behind her and black hair"Barry said "I remember"I said "What are you talking about?"Cait said freaking out "We saw each other while we were in our comas we got hit at the exact same time with the exact same lighting and we woke up at the same time everything I felt in my coma she felt, everything she felt I felt, she was the one flatlining and when they charged me she felt it to that's how she stayed alive she felt the change from me into her"He sad "Are hearts beat at the same time and at the same paste"I said standing up and I almost fall to the ground he catches me and holds my arms then let's go"Thanks"I said "Wait what are we going to do about her reading minds we need to figure out how it works"Cait said "I hear screaming, and whispering"I say "And it's all bundled together"I said "Okay I need you to build a wall if front of the voices and just focus on our voices block them out you know when you listen to music you just focus on that so do the same"Mr. Wells said and I close my eyes feeling and hearing Barry's heart pumping from his chest next to me and I can hear Cait, Cisco, and Dr. Wells too "Guy the voices are gone but I can hear everyone's heart beat"I said "Wait so can she read minds or does she have superpowers hearing"Cait asked "Maybe both she had no access to her ears before maybe she has all access now"Mr wells said Barry's phone goes off and he takes it "Out I'm sorry I have to go I'll see you guys later"Barry said and we all nodded he speed out "It looks like I'll be staying here"I stood up "You can stay with me?"Cait said "Are you sure I can find a place Cait"I said "No no no you're staying with me"She said "Okay"She smiled "Mr wells I'm gunna take my sister home"Cait locked her arm with mine and he nodded she pulled me out side and to her car "Tomorrow we'll work on your speed but today let's just relax"She smiled and I nodded "Okay so you like Barry huh?"She smirked at me as she started up the car "He's cute but I don't know him I mean yeah we might have been in each other's brains for 9 months but still"I said "Well I think you guys would be perfect for each other"She said "Well we'll see he probably doesn't even like me like that"I said "He could"She said pulling into the street

I see Iris kissing detective pretty bow and I've never been happier to see her happy, she meets my eye and I scratch the back of my neck and we give each other half smiles she says something to Eddie and heads over to me "Let's take a walk"She locked our arms and we walked down the street "You can't tell my dad he doesn't know about me and Eddie"She said and I feel hurt "It doesn't seem like anyone's in on the secret"I say looking at the side walk as we walk "I was gunna tell you, when you were in the hospital Eddie covered my dads shifts so we both could be with you, I thanked him with a donut and a coffee, but then it just kind of happened and it's good Barry I mean I like him"She said "Isn't it against department regulations to date your partners daughter?"I asked "Why are you so upset about this I thought you'd be happy for me"She stopped walking "I am I just hate laying to your dad"I said and I heard police sirens behind me and 3 cop cars speeding past us, everything slows down and I can see a car heading right towards us I quickly pick up Iris and fling us out of the way and everything goes back to normal, the car slowing down I see Mardon, I run after him seeing Ray besides me running we both get on the side of his car and we brake the window getting in "I thought you needed a hand"She said and I see Mardon pulling out a gun she quickly reaches over taking the wheel and spinning it, we roll over and he crawls out Ray and I following after him, "Hey Mardon" I yell I see the glass from the windshield in her forehead, she nods saying she's okay and I look at her confused "Mine reader remember"She quickly says and I turn my attention back to Mardon who looks like he's making clouds from his hands it swarms all around us I turn around and Mardon disappeared into the clouds, I turn seeing a car ramming into the car we came out of and the next thing I know is I'm on the grass and Ray on top of me "You okay?"She asked and I nodded she quickly got up and went over to the car that crashed and got the Women out of the front I watch her hair is black just like I remembered, I run back to Iris Ray following me and we stop right before we get there and the ambulance is all around us "Barry Iris!"Joe yelled and ray backed away waving and she nods "I'm okay dad"Iris said "What were you thinking keeping her out here like this, and I told you when you see danger you run the other way!"Joe said to Iris "Your not a cop"He added "Because you wouldn't let me!"Iris said "Damn right"Joe said "Joe I need to talk to you"I said "It can wait"He said "Joe no now"I said walking away and he follows me "I know who did this, it's Clyde Mardon, I know everybody thinks he died, after the explosion but he's alive, I think he can control the weather something happened to him that night, when I just confronted Marion the street was instantly enveloped in fog, or clouds"I said "Of course you don't believe me"I paused "You never do"I said "Okay, You want to do this  ow out here, fine mardon is dead, there is no controlling the weather, just like there was no lightning storm in your house that night Barry, it was your brain helping a scared eleven year old boy accept what he saw"He said "My dad did not--"He interrupted me "Yes he did your father killed you mother Barry, I'm sorry son, I knew it the judge and the jury knew it and now he's paying for what he did !"He shouted "Dad enough!"Iris said "I've tried to take care of you ever sense that night and I never asked anything for anyone not even a thank you but now Barry for once in your life I need you to see things as they are"He said and I open my mouth to say something but I stop just walking away

They taught me how to shut out the voice so thats what I'm going to start doing when around the "team"I'm laying down on my bed Cait just stitched me up and is forcing me to lay down and relax, I got into my tan kitted shorts and a plain white shirt tying the front
