I smile looking at to my friends playing darts "Hey how you doing?"Riley came up to me "I'm good"I smile wrapping my arm around her waist pulling her closer to me "We got one problem tho"She said "What's that?"I asked "20 shots please"She said "You have alcohol problem?"I questioned "No come on"She said walking to Caitlin and Cisco "Guys we have a problem"She said "A alcohol problem?"Cisco asked and she glared at him I just chuckled "No watch"She vastly chugs them all down "I can't feel anything"She said "That's usually what happens when you drink a lot"I said and she glared at me "No like it's not effecting me"She said pushing them to me "Chug them"She said and I did so shrugging "Yeah nothing"I said "It's your hypermetabolism, I need a sample"Cait said "Oh yeah"Riley said "I'll get more shots"Cait said "I swear I had a vacutainer in here"Cait said digging through her bag "Wait you carry a blood collection kit in your bag?"Barry said "You have your hobbies"Cait said digging "Oh my god Cait"Riley said going through her purse handing her one "There"She said and Cisco came back with more shots "We need new friends"I said to Riley in my mind and she giggled "No mind secrets!"Cisco shouted and Riley laughed again "Cisco I don't think China heard you, you might want to say it louder"I said and Riley laughed

We've probably drank about fifty shots already "Nothing?"Cisco asked I shook my head "Seriously nothing?"Cait asked "I can't get drunk, I mean come on I'm only 25 and my drinking days are over"Grant said "Yeah I'm 21 you're telling me"Riley said "Riley your up"Eddie said his phone buzzed "There's a bombing on eighth and pass"Riley whispered to me "I got to go"Eddie said "I have early morning at jitters"Iris said "I'm beat"Cait yawned "It's getting late anyways so I'm gunna"Barry said and we ran getting our suits on we race to the building two guys are hanging off the window cleaner thing "Guys there's two window washers they're about to fall"Riley said "Well don't try to catch them you don't have super strength"Cisco said "Is there a mattress store what if I stack them"I said "Barry this isn't a road runner cartoon"Riley looked arms "How fast would we need to be to run up a building?"Riley asked and we backed up "How far do you need to run?Cisco asked "Uh about 50 meters give or take"Riley said "Guys hurry!"Riley yelled "Just run really fast and you guys will be good just maintain your velocity on the way down"Cait said "Or what?"I asked "Splat"Riley said "Great"I said "Ready?"Riley asked I nod and we start running full first up the building "I'll get the one on the far side"I said to her and she nods we get to the top and we catch the guys as they fall running the same speed as we were at the top we put them on the floor happing them up and Riley hits my arm I look up seeping Iris "Vibrate your body"I said to her In her mind I look at her and she's already doing we nod at Iris and quickly run past her, we run to the lab getting dressed in work clothes sense we have to go down to the crime scene, she gets a beanie putting it on and running out of the cortex I follow after her we race a street before the crime scene and we start walking

"Barry got anything?"Joe asked " Bombers typically have their own unique signatures crimped wire heat signatures, the level of sophistication once I've analyzed it, you show me a bomb I can usually find a clue in it"I said "Sounds like there's a but coming"Joe said "I haven't found any sign of a oxidizing agent"I said "It's as if the floor just blew itself up"Riley said "Things just don't blow up"Joe said "Security guard said the bomber is a woman which seems unlikely "Eddie said "What you don't think woman can be bad guys only guys can do it?"Riley said and I laughed to myself "No woman can be incredible bad guys I mean I've cough some I mean"Eddie looked like he was about to shit himself "Eddie I'm just kidding continue"Riley laughed "She had red hair she must have cut the security camera there is no footage but there might be something else some kind of small charge blacked off the doorknob"Eddie said and we walked into the room "Any idea what's missing?"Joe asked "I'm guessing one of these files it's going to take dates to figure out witch one "Eddie said "Lets let Riley and Barry do their thing"Joe said and they left the room we both started vastly going through the drawers "I got the empty one"She said and I went over to her "Bette Sans Souci"I said "I know why she's want to kill everyone now"I said and I hit his arm "That's mean"She said and I laughed "We better take it to joe"She said "No fast running until we're out of here"O said and she rolled her eyes "Barry I'm not stupid"She laughed and I smile "I know"I grab her hand and we walk out "Lucky man Mr. Allen is she a freak in the sheets?"A cop said and she rolled her eyes and I pull her closer "You guys have no respect for woman"I said and she just pulled me out of the building "It's fine Barry"She said "I'm not going to let these guys not give you the respect you deserve"I said and she put her hands on my cheek "Thank you but you can't beat up ever guy who doesn't respect me"She started walking again "I can sure try!"I said catching up to her and she giggled I wish she'd kiss me again we haven't sense a week ago when we both admitted how we felt it's been a little complicated with us we've been a lot busy with stopping bad guys but I want to have some alone time with her sometime soon hopefully anyways "Barry keep up!"She called and I laughed speeding next to her we go in "What's going on?"I asked seeing army men everywhere "General Elling is relieving us from the bomb case"Joe nodded at Riley and me and we both nod I hand over the box of evidence and Riley puts her hood over her head "You and a few civilians want to look over at S.T.A.R Labs"Joe said and I nodded "I think we might"Riley said and we turned walking away we race out of the police station and down the streets to S.T.A.R labs "A VA file is all you have on the bomber?"Cisco asked "C.C.P.D has been ordered off the case"Riley sat on the top of the computer desk Crossing her leg over "Well who has the power to do that?"Cait asked "The Army"I said "Some general names Eiling, I think"Riley said "General Wade Eling "You know him?"Riley asked "Yeah I do, about 10 years ago General Wade Eling contracting S.T.A.R labs, to develop enhanced gene therapies for soldiers, I was interested in the medical benefits for civilians, General Eiling really wanted to develop mind-reading capabilities for interrogation purposes I ended the study when I saw his techniques but our split was less than amicable"Dr Wells said "He took all the evidence Riley and I collected on the bombing case, everything but the folder"I said "Well lucky forgot us the VA finally joined the millennium and digitized their records a lot of redacted info but our girl is Bette Sans Souci a EOD for the army"Cisco said "EOD?"Cait asked "Bombs"Riley said "Is there a address?"I asked "Hold on here we go"Cisco asked "One person in case of emergency Cameron Scott, angelwood"Cisco said and Riley hopped down we quickly got our suit on and running down the streets we see a girl and we run to her "Bette Sand Souci"I said and she runs Riley runs to her front and I block her back "I need you to come with me"Riley said "Don't touch me please"Bette said she touched Riley suit "Get what ever your wearing off of you!"She said to Riley "Hurry!"Bette said Riley quickly ran and there was an explosion and Riley looks back in her bra and underwear I scratch my neck and she stands I can hear Cisco freaking out from S.T.A.R labs because we're answering "She's okay we'll be right there"I said and we started running she went in the other Room putting clothes on she comes out putting on a shirt "Don't ask"She said "I'm gunna ask, where's my suit"Cisco asked "It's gone"Riley said "What do you mean it's gone what did you do to my suit?"Cisco asked "It blew up dude!"I said "I managed to get out of it before it went kaboom"Riley said "My suit went kaboom"Cisco said "Fun fact about Bette Sans Souci: she's not carrying bombs, she touched the emblem of my suit and it turned into a bomb"Riley said "She's a metahuman"I said "She blew up my suit"Cisco said sad "You have four more"Cait and Riley said at the same time "I have three actually and I loved that one"Cisco said and I rolled my eyes "What else do we know about her?"I asked "I don't know she's pure evil, when we find her her butts going in to the pipeline"Cisco said "No one blows up my tech to pieces and gets away with it, unless she looks like that"Cisco sat on the chair looking at her picture"Riley rolled her eyes "I don't think she was trying to hurt me"Riley said "Or her being a metahuman explains General Eilings interest in her"Dr wells said "And why he stole the case from us, he didn't want anyone know what she can do"Joe came in "Detective"Dr wells said "Doctor"Joe said "So human bomb must be Tuesday in Central City"Joe said "Barry, Riley can I speak to you for a second"Joe said and we nod "We're I trouble"I thought and she giggled "When were you guys going to tell me that Iris saw The Streak and Blue last night"Joe asked "That was not planned she caught us off guard"I say "We had a deal you keep her in the dark about much"She said as we get close to Jitters "She does"I said and I open the door for her "Mhmm"She hummed and we went up to Iris "Hey"She hugged us both "Hey"Riley smiled "Iris I don't think you should be writing about this guy"I said and Riley coughed "And girl, they don't even exist"I said "I saw them Barry he wears a red suit and she wears a white like a uniform or something both of them had a lightning bolt on their chest like an emblem or something "Iris come on you were drinking last night at the bar"I said "First I was not drunk I know what I saw they both wear masks they both smiled at me"Iris said "First if they were a mask they probably don't want people knowing who they are"I said "It doesn't matter who they are Barry it matters if people know that their out there protecting our city, Barry what is wrong with you this is important to me why aren't you more supportive?"Iris questioned and I can feel Rileys guilt raiding off of her "I just I mean you haven't even put your name on it how serious can you be about a anonymous blog?"I question she scoffs "When we were a kid you could scream loud enough that the impossible existed and now that it's actually happening in our city for that matter I have proof of it and you don't want to know anything about it?"She questioned "That doesn't makes sense so when you want to tell me what is really going on then we'll talk, Riley it was nice to see you again"Iris said turning and walking away "Damn"Riley exhaled my phone rings and I pick it up "yeah?"I asked "We caught onto General Eilings surveillance, according to what their says the incredibly lovely Ms. Sans Souci was spotted on Angelwoodly "The same neighborhood as Dr. Harold Hanzelwoods office the melitary surgeon who preformed many procedures on her, that's why she was looking for the folder"Cait said "That's why Riley and You have to get to her before Eiling does"Cisco said and I look at Riley and she's already putting her beanie on, we run down an ally changing into our suits and we quickly run to the building "WEST WING!"Riley yelled and we run to the top floor where she is and we stand behind her "Gun"I hear Riley before it's to late it hit San Souci we run to her "We can help you, we can explain what happened to you but you need to come with us"Riley yelled "How?"San Souci asked "Because it happened to us"I said "Barry their going to throw a flash bang"Riley said and right after she said that it came in the room I picked up San Souci and we quickly ran out of the room

Dr wells explained what a happened to her what happened to Barry and Me, Cisco hit on her and now Caits testing her "Besides, My sister and Barry your the only meta human that we tested"Cait said "Meta human?"San Souci asked "Its just a term"Cait said "What happened to your arm?"Cait asked and San Souci lifted her left sleeve "Why didn't you say you got shot?"Cait asked and I lean in looking "It just gazed me"San Souci said "There's something in it"Cait said pulling it out "A tracker"San Souci said and our monster started beeping telling us someone's coming up and we all look it's army women with General Eiling in the middle of them all "Lock down the pipeline!"Dr wells said to Cisco "Get Bette out of here I'll take care of Eiling"Dr wells said and Barry goes over looking at the picture "I'll get Cisco you get the girls"Barry said to me "Meet at the trailer"He said and I nodded going to the girls "Cait Bette hold on to me please"I said and The both do (don't worry Bette put gloves on the can stop her from blowing things up when she touches them) I pick them up lightly and start running I set them down when we get there and I sit on the table with everything Barry and Cisco set up before I got here "Took you long enough"Barry said "I was carrying two girls shut up"I said and he laughs "So Bette your going to take off your gloves, we're gunna hand you these objects throw them and we're going to see how long it takes for you to blow up things"Cisco said excitedly "Okay"Bette said taking off her gloves and I hand her a frisbee and she throws it in the air "Four hundred twenty-seven kpa's, Her trauzl rating is around 45"Cisco said "That's the same as any plastique"I said Barry follows after Bette and I catch up to them "Downrange insurgents started bobby-trapping cars, for the rest of my tour I was terrified to touch another car, now for the rest of my life I'm gunna be terrified to touch a human being without them blowing up"She turned towards us "Have they ever tried to help either of you?"She asked "They've helped us learn how to use our powers to help people not reverse them"I said "If they could reverse it so you guys weren't metahumans, would you?"She looked both at us "My friend once told me I was given speed for a reason like I was chosen, I don't think I really believe that but I always wanted to help people now I can"Barry said and Bette looked at me "I know people believe in me, when I was a child I was bullied for being deaf and all I wanted to show people that it was okay to be different that you're still amazing I always wanted to help someone in anything I could and now I can just like Barry"I said and Barry's phone went off "Hey Joe"Barry said "I see your little conversation with Iris was a success"Joe said sarcastically and I looked at Barry "Iris just wrote something about the streak and blue"Joe said "Joe I tried I really did"Barry said "Barry she has her name on it now"Joe said and I look at Barry biting on the inside on my cheek "I'm so sorry Joe"Barry said Joe interrupting him "It's my fault I should have asked either of you to talk to her, I just thought you should know, okay? Bye"And with that joe hung up "What was that about?"Cisco asked "Iris posted about Blue and The streak she put her name on it"Barry said "Oh that's not good"Cisco said "No"I said "If anyone of these bad metahumans figures she knows somethin-"Cisco said and I interrupted him "They might come after her we know"I said and Cisco walks away "I have an idea"I said "What?"He asked

Later That Night
"Ready?"I asked Barry he nods I knock on Jitters door "Were closed!"Iris yelled and we race to the other side "It both of you"She said "I heard you've been writing about us"I said vibrating my vocal cords "You guys are real"She said stepping to us "Just I should clea-"She said and Barry quickly runs cleaning up Jitters coming back and standing next to me "Meet is on the roof we'll give you a head start"Barry winks vibrating his vocal cords and I roll my eyes shacking my head "What?"He said normally I start to run and we meet Iris on the roof we both sit on the top of the roof above where she canes in "I need you to stop writing about us"I said "The people out there maybe need someone like you guys out there to know that you're out there, I have so many questions, where you guys from?"She asked and we run to the other side and she quickly turns around "We can't tell you"Barry said "Who are you?"Uris asked "We can't tell you that either"I said we run on the other side behind her "How do you do what you do?"She said and we both walk different ways her eyes follow me "Both of you are terrible interviews"She said and we run behind her "There so much more to this than you can understand"Barry said "Trust us please you need to stop"I said "Tell me this can you guys stop running into building and rescuing people without them even knowing you're there?"Iris asked "We don't do it for the glory"Barry said "Then why do you do it?"Iris asked and Barry runs behind her and I stay in front of her "I have these friends but the one I've known for the longest he had something terrible happened to him when he was a kid, his whole life he's been telling stories about this impossible things, people laughed at him and made fun at him therapists questioned him and analyzed him, everyone has questioned him ever sense, and now he lost his faith, but both of you are proof that he isn't or wasn't crazy all this time I run to Barry side and Iris turns around towards as and we look down "Please both of you help me save my friend"Iris said "Let's go"Barry said in my mind and we look up vibrating are body "He's a lucky guy"Barry said and he runs and I hug Iris running after Barry

"Have you ever felt different?"Barry asked as we sat on our roof looking at the stars "Barry I was deaf and I'm adopted all I ever was, was different"I said "Do you know who your biological parents are?"He asked "Nope I know nothing about them, I don't know their names, what they look like I don't know who's eyes I have or nose or lips, I don't know why they gave me away I don't know anything"I said looking down he grabbed my hand "Do you want to know who they are?"He asked "I'm not gunna lie there's always been a part of me that's wondered I just don't want to get hurt when I figure out the answer, my parents left me Barry they didn't want me, they took one look at me and gave me away i don't know if I can handle the answer"I said and he pulled me in his lap "You are strong and smart you can handle anything, if you think you can handle it I'll help you find things out about your birth parents"He said "I wanna know"I said "We'll start the research"He said "When we can this isn't important"I said "it is important you're important to me"He said "I've waited 21 years I think I can wait a little longer"I said and he sped us in my room "Not very much longer we'll figure it out"He said turning off the light and I quickly light up some candles "So when do I get my second kiss"He asked sitting on the edge of my bed and I sat next to him "You haven't made the move for the second one"I said and he softly pulled me on his lap putting his hands on my waist "The guy has to make the first move?"He asked "No not always"I giggled leaning in and softly kissing him he puts his hands on my waists and I smile "awe should get to sleep"He said and I nodded "Yeah we should got a long day ahead of us"I said and he quickly gets us in bed cuddling up to each other he kisses my forehead "You are an incredible woman"He thinks and I smile kissing him again

The Next Morning
We get to S.T.A.R labs and walks in the cortex and everyone's huddled around "Hey what's wrong?"Riley asked "Did Eiling find out your here?"Barry asked "No Caitlin was just about to tell me the bad news"Bette said "The shrapnel in your body has merged with you on a cellular level"Cait said "And the technology required to unsplice your DNA, it hasn't been invented yet"Dr. wells said everyone pauses all looking at Dette tears weld up in her eyes "Bette"I said and a tear falls from her eyes "No I, I just need a minute, don't worry i think I can cry without blowing this up"Bette walked away "What now?"Cisco asked "She becomes a part of our team"Barry said "Barry Riley and you have amazing abilities to help people, she blows things up"Cait says and I can feel Barry getting angry "Cait she's the first metahuman that's not hell bent on destroying the city"I said "It's to dangerous"Dr Wells said "Shes not going in the pipeline"Barry said "I'm not suggesting she goes in, but if she stays here at S.T.A.R labs it would put all of us at risk"Dr. Well said "From who, Eiling?"I said "Eiling is a dangerous man, we do not want him as an enemy"Dr. Wells said "What if after the lightning bolt, you didn't find me, that could have been me, hunted on the run, cut off from everyone I know and care about, you guys saved me"Barry said "I want to save her just as bad as you"Cait asked "It doesn't seem like it"Barry said running out and I take a deep breath "I'll go"I said putting it on my beanie and running after him "Barry!"I thought running down every street I stopped after i got home I ran in and up to my room plopping on my bed "Hey"Barry said and I jumped "Holy shit you scared me"I jumped up and he's sitting out my window "Will you go to the police station I need to go through some things at the lab"He said and I nodded

We walked into our lab "Joe?"Barry said when we walk in "What are you doing in here?"I asked "Going over the material in your moms case"He said to Barry "How are you guys?"He asked "Stellar, we made friends with a metahuman bomb, who I promised to help and then couldn't"Barry said "And I finally diagnosed why Iris is writing about Blue and the streak"Barry paused "She's doing it for me"He chuckled shaking his head "To prove the impossible is possible"Barry said "How do you know that?"Joe asked "She might have talked to Blue and the streak"I said "Barry, Riley you guys don't think she'd recognize your voice"Joe said I giggle "No we can do this cool thing with our vocal cords where we vibrate them so we sound like this"I said vibrating them we all laugh "I know I know"Barry chuckles "It's cool it's cool"I said "Woah"Joe said touching his throat "Yeah"Barry said "Well you guys put that out there now so, I want to keep her safe"Joe said "You know the only way to get her to stop is by telling her the truth"Barry said "Man you really want to tell her"Joe said "I tell her everything"Barry said "Well I have to get home"Joe said standing up and held his arms out for both of us and we both hugged him

"I got the military feed back up, it looks like they went to the waterfront with Bette, she's turning herself in"Cisco said and before anyone said anything else Barry and I quickly put on our suits and raced out and down the roads to the waterfront "She's going to kill them!"I yelled "We really need to figure out how I can read your mind!"He yelled we stood in front of her "What are you doing here?"She asked "Being a soldier doesn't mean your a murder, don't become on now"I said there's a load shot and Bette falls to the floor "I'm sorry I didn't see him"I said kneeling and so does Barry "It's not you're fault I'm glad you stopped me"She said "We'll get you back to S.T.A.R labs"Barry said "Barry, Dr. wells he, he"She said and before she said anything else she's gone she starts turning purple "We have a problem"Barry said in his ear piece "Is Bette okay?"Cisco asked "No Eiling killed her, she's glowing she's going to blow up"I said in my ear piece "Oh god, the mass that size, the explosion would be "Cait said and I interrupted her "Devastating"I said "You have to get her away from the city"Cait said "But there's no time"Barry said "Can we run on water?"I asked looking at the sea "I built up enough speed to run up a building how fast do I need to be to run on water?"I asked "Assuming your weights, 400 pounds of force per step for vertical suspension accounting for fluid drag "Approximately 650 miles per hour"Dr. Wells said "You have to outrun the blast or you'll die too"Cisco said I quickly pick her up "What are you doing?"Barry asked "It's fine Barry"I smile "No let me do it"He said about to take her from me and I quickly run on the water, I get farther and father "I'm sorry!"I yell loudly "I'm sorry Barry"I say running past the buoy and dropping her I run as fast as I can back feeling the water on my back and feeling Caits, Caicos, Barry's and Dr wells fear raiding and I focus on the city in front of me and I keep running, I make it to the shore and I take a deep breath out looking back to the ocean I take off my mask and breathing, I run back to S.T.A.R labs before the reports get here

"The military was simply conducting a under water weapons test there is no need for panic or alarm"The reporter said on TV "He murdered Bette right in front of us and there's nothing we can do"I said "Powerful men have a way of avoiding consequences"Dr Wells said "You guys going to be okay?"Cait asked Barry and I "Yeah"I said "Both of you can walk on water puts you both in pretty interesting company"Cait said and Barry walked off "You going after him?"She asked and I wrapped locked my arms with her "He wants to be alone"I said "Let's go get something to eat have sister time"I said and she nods and we walk out heading to the Mexican restaurant around the corner

I open the door to Joes and Iris "Hey if you came to do Landry I already have a load in"She said "No, I came to talk"I said going over and sitting next to her at the table I sighed "I was working on a case, someone I thought I could help, befriend, but they died"I said "I'm sorry Barry"She said "I didn't know her that well but it still hurts"I said "And I know how bad I feel right now, but I know how much worse it is too loose family, Iris writing about this stuff, putting your name out there it's dangerous, so I'm asking one more time, please stop"I said "And I'm asking one more time to tell me what's going on with you, why am I the only one interested in this"She said "I guess just the stuff with my family I just finally put it behind me, I'm asking you to also"I said "Barry this may have been how all this has started but it's so much more to me now who ever this Streak and Blue are wherever they came from, I'm not stopping until everyone believes in them"Iris said and I paused "Maybe we shouldn't see each other for awhile"I said and Iris looks away "Yeah"She said and I nodded rubbing my face and getting up and walking out I can feel Rileys sadness raiding wherever she is"Riley, meet me at the bar please"I said in my mind and running in
