"You did amazing!" Anthony embraces me into a hug and I hug him back. After about half an hour of hugging and compliments, I feel the vibration of my phone. Shit, Keith. I unlock my phone to see seven miss calls and twenty-nine messages.
Keith: Babe, I'm going to be home in a couple of hours
You better be there when I'm there
And none of that you didn't want to disappoint your friends bullshit
What the fuck?!
Why aren't you answering my fucking calls?!
And my messages
You're in deep shit Evelyn!
Are you performing or whatever the fuck you do?
Eve!
ANSWER!
MY!
FUCKING!
CALLS!
You better be home when I get there
Which is in an hour
45 minutes left
I'm going to beat yOU ASS ONCE YOU GET FUCKING HOME
You so fucking luck to have me
If you were dating anyone else
And that's if anyone else would actually like you
They would dump your ass so fast
Honestly I don't fucking blame them
You're so fucking lucky I don't leave your ass!
You have 15 minutes to get home
And I'm already fucking home
I can't fucking believe you!

And I get repaid by this, well fuck you Evelyn! FUCK YOU!
"Hey, Evelyn, what wrong?" I hear Anthony's voice behind me. I realize I'm shaking. I turn around to face him and immediately go for his chest.
"He's going to kill me," I cry into his arms. He rubs my back in comfort while I continue to cry. He leads me to the couch and sits me down.
"Hey, look at me. Don't be scared, he can't hurt you, I won't let him," he tells me. I choke on my sobs and cry harder.
"Let's forget about him tonight, we can go to the after party and have fun," he smiles. I shake my head rapidly.
"He'll take anything, and whatever he doesn't he'll break."
"Then let's go get your things," he says getting up.
"O-okay. But I have to go in by myself, he'll probably be drunk and I don't want you to get hurt."
"I should be telling you that," he chuckles.
