chap 12; irl

I arrived back at Paul's house and started getting ready for the party. I put on a crop top and a pair of denim jeans. I got my curling iron from my carry on and plugged it in. I was looking at myself in the mirror when I noticed Ian standing at my door.

"You look beautiful" he smirked.

"Thank you, Smolder" I blushed. I quickly looked down so he couldn't see me.

"I'm going to go and get ready, I'll see you later" he winked and walked away.

I grabbed the curling iron and began to curl my hair. Once I was done I headed downstairs and greeted Paul, and then my phone started to ring. The number was unknown. I hesitantly picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hi Lana! It's Julie, I was wondering if you took up my offer on being our new makeup artist."

"Oh yes I would love to! I may need a few weeks to settle in if that's alright with you."

"Of course, take all the time you need to! Paul tells me that you're the best."

"Okay, thank you, bye!"

"Bye."

I smiled widely.

"What?" Paul said.

"Guess who is the new makeup artist for The Vampire Diaries?" 

"No way!!!" He yelled. We gave each other a huge hug and then there was a knock on the door. 

"Sup motherfuckers" Daniel and Joseph said walking inside. Phoebe, Claire, Nina and Candice quickly followed behind them. I was at the counter pouring myself a drink when a familiar voice came up behind me.

"Hey" Ian said.

"Hi" I smiled.

"I saw you flirting with Joseph."

"I was not flirting!!"

"Okay well he was."

"What are you? Jealous?"

"Maybe" he smirked.

We returned back to the group and I got to know the rest of the cast. They were all so great and welcoming. It has only been two days and I already feel at home here. I can't wait to move here and spend some more time with these amazing people.
