As you opened the door to your house, you saw Mark and Sean sitting on the couch, talking and laughing. Mark saw you and stood up. Sean stood too, but a little more timidly.

"Hey what's up, (y/n)! I know you know him, but this is Sean, and Sean, this is (y/n)."

Sean smiled softly and waved slightly, still standing next to Mark. "Hey! Nice to meet ya."

You laughed. Mark was right, Sean was a bit more quiet and shy than he seemed on YouTube. "Same to you Sean. So, I gotta ask. How exactly did you get your flight wrong?"

He laughed, embarrassed. "Well, I woke up last night checked my flight time to be prepared. Then, I noticed I was off by a couple days, and my plane was taking off in four hours! So, I quickly sent a text to Mark and left, but apparently he didn't get it," he elbowed Mark.

"Yeah, sorry about not telling you earlier, (y/n). I swear, I didn't have my phone with me all morning!"

You all laughed, and Sean seemed to be getting a bit more comfortable with you. "You know," he said to you as he held his hand up to Mark to jokingly block him from the conversation. "Mark's told me so much about you!"

Mark turned red as Sean went on, "he just goes on and on and on. Always talking about how cool and funny you are, and how pretty you are, and-"

Before Sean could keep going, Mark punched him in the arm as you giggled. "Ow! Alright, alright, I'll stop."

After you got Sean settled on the couch, the three of you were hanging out in the living room when you suddenly got a text from your boss.

Good afternoon, (y/n). I heard that you write your own songs, and I was wondering if you'd like to perform at work this Friday. We're having free breakfast then for anyone that needs it, so it might be crowded and in need of some music. Please be aware that this is volunteer performance.

You squealed as Sean and Mark looked at you concerned. You quickly typed back your reply.

No problem at all, I would love to do that. Just let me know what time I need to be there. Thanks!

You jumped up and squealed again as you hugged Mark tightly.

"MARK I'M GONNA PERFORM!!!!!" You said, still squeezing.

"That's awesome!! But I really need to breathe." Mark choked out as you released him quickly.

 "Sorry," you said, blushing.

"It's cool. I'm so happy for you!!! When are you gonna perform?"

 "Friday, not sure when, though."

"We'll be done live streaming by Friday morning at 8:30. I really hope we can make it. If not, we could just move it..."

You shook your head quickly. "No no, don't do that! You don't wanna do that on such short notice. If you can't make it, you can't make it."

You then received a text from your boss again.

 Does 9 work for you?

 9 is perfect. Thanks!

 "It'll be at nine."

Mark took your hand and squeezed it. "Perfect. We'll be there!"

Sean high fived you and smiled. "Congrats, (y/n)! Can't wait to hear ya!"

As Sean left to get a glass of water, Mark wrapped his arms around you, "my girl's gonna be a star!"

You snorted, "come on Mark, I'm just singing at a coffee shop!"

"Well," Mark said, pulling you closer, "I think it's pretty amazing."

After he said this, his lips met yours. As you deepened the kiss, you ran your hands up and down his back as he moaned softly. Just then, Sean walked in and stood back, shocked.

"Jeez, you guys. Get a room!"

You pulled back with your face as red as a tomato. Mark look annoyed, "ah, shut up, Sean!"

"You know Sean," you said jokingly, "I liked you better when you were quiet!"

"Sorry," Sean laughed. "Unfortunately, you're stuck with me for a little while!"

 Mark muttered, "unfortunately, yes."

Sean laughed and ruffled Mark's hair. "Shut up, Mark, you know you love me!"

Mark pushed Sean back jokingly, "fight me."

"Oh, I think I will!" Sean said, and assumed fighting stance. Mark jumped on Sean, and they wrestled on the carpet. You shook your head at these two; this was gonna be a weird week.

Mark eventually had Sean pinned, and he grinned triumphantly. "Do you goons want dinner any time soon?"

They both nodded their heads eagerly, and you laughed as you went into the kitchen to make chicken.

Later that night, you were sitting with Mark in bed, when he kissed you on the cheek. "Congrats again, (y/n). Proud of ya."

"Thanks Mark." You giggled. As he rolled over to go to sleep, you tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, Mark?"

"Yeah?" Mark picked his head up.

 "I, uh, I love you."

Mark smiled from ear, making you beam. "I love you too, (y/n)."

You smiled back just as wide, and you held hands as you fell asleep, or tried to.

An hour and a half later, you say up. "Hey, Mark, you up?" You whispered.

"Yeah." He rolled over and sat up with you. "I can't sleep."

 "Yeah, me neither."

Mark suddenly got close to you and grinned. "So, do you wanna finish what we were doing earlier?"

You returned his question with a flick of your eyebrows and a smirk. "Hell yes!"

He jumped on top of you as his lips came crashing onto yours. He seemed a lot more aggressive this time, not that you minded. You again ran your hands up and down his back, and he didn't moan softly this time, because there was no Sean to stop him.
