Chapter 4: Chaos

My eyes opened slowly and the sunshine was blinding me. I then realized what had happened yesterday. Wait. Was that a dream? I got out of bed and went over to my desk. I smiled. I grabbed the sticky note that had Justin's phone number on it and giggled excitedly. I went back to my bed and checked my phone. 11:30 AM? Jesus. I got a couple texts from Lisa and a text from an unknown number.

This was definitely Justin. I added his phone number into my contacts and immediately answered back.
Aww, again thank you for yesterday...it was amazing :))).
I clicked send and hopped off my bed.
I decided to go for a jog because I need exercise honestly. I slid on my lululemon leggings with my lululemon tanktop. I tied my hair into a ponytail and slid on my Nikes. I grabbed my phone and earbuds and ran downstairs. My mom was sitting on the couch reading a book. I grabbed a bar and quickly ate it."Hey mom, I'm going for a jog! I'll probably be back in an hour." She smiled at me."Okay sweetie!" I ran out the door and passed by Justin's house giving it a long look. It made me smile knowing he just lived right there. I still had my head turned to their house while I was running, and that's when I crashed into someone, causing both of us to fall over."Oh my gosh!! I'm so sorry!! Are you okay??" I said worriedly before I looked and realized who it was. Justin. He smirked at me and laughed."You're fine clumsy." I just looked at him for a solid minute, but then I realized I was still on top of him. "Oh shoot!" I got up quickly and blushed while awkwardly laughing. He chuckled and stood up too. "So what're you doin out here?" I shrugged."Honestly I was planning on going for a jog but I'm not really feeling it anymore." I laughed. He laughed at my expression. "Well I better get going, I promised my mom I'd be home soon." he said slowly. "Oh okay, it was nice seeing you Justin." I smiled. He grabbed my face and kissed my forehead. Ahhhhh my heart. As he started walking away I turned away to continue jogging. But then I remembered something and turned back around."Oh wait Justin!" I exclaimed running towards him. He turned around before opening the door with a confused look. "Uh, what school are you gonna go to?" I said with hope in my voice. He smiled. "I'm going to Glendale High, starting Monday. My heart danced in my chest, because I was just so excited. "Great! I go there too! Maybe you can send me a picture of your classes and I'll see if we have any together!" I smiled trying not to sound too excited. "Sounds good." he exclaimed. Before he turned back around he turned to me and leaned in."By the way those leggings look good on you." he whispered in my year with the sexiest voice. He moved back and winked at me and went inside. Oh my god. Was he checking out my ass? Lisa needs to come over NOW!!!!! I have so much stuff to spill... After I went on my jog I returned home but my mom wasn't home. She probably went grocery shopping. I looked at the clock. "1 PM." Okay I'll invite Lisa over. 30 minutes later I heard 5 loud knocks at my door. Definitely Lisa. I opened the door and she came running in screaming. "I SAW HIM!!! I SAW HIM!!! HOLY CRAP HE'S GORGEOUS! HIS HAIR AND EVERYTHING GOD HE'S BEAUTIFUL." she exclaimed breathlessly. I laughed at her face. We went upstairs and lied on my bed as I explained everything that happened yesterday. "HOLY CRAP HE KISSED YOU AND GAVE YOU HIS NUMBER?!" I smiled big."Yup, plus he's going to Glendale High!" She covered her mouth with her hands."I'm so happy for you Ash, dude congrats you guys are gonna freakin get married!" I laughed at her exaggeration. "Plus I saw him this morning and he basically complimented my ass." I said laughing. Her mouth dropped. "No fucking way." I nodded. After that I got a text from my phone. Justin!!! He sent me a picture of his classes. I read them through carefully, but we only had one class together. Math, which was right after lunch. I sighed,"God I wish we had more classes together." Lisa sighed aswell,"Well its better than nothing am I right?" she exclaimed. I nodded.

After telling all the stories about Justin, we went to the mall and did a little shopping. Well not a little, more like a lot of shopping. Psht what do you expect?? IT WAS 7 FOR 27 AT VICTORIA SECRET!! Lisa's mom picked her up after shopping, and I drove myself home. I opened the front door and saw a note on the table."Hey honey! After I came back from Safeway, I went out to get my hair and nails done! They're some snacks in the pantry until I get home. Love you." I smiled and walked over to my pantry to grab food, when my heart dropped into my stomach. I dropped my chips all over the floor."W-w-who are you?" I said shakily. A tall black figure turned around. He was an old man with the most terrifying look. I took deep breaths and backed away. He grabbed something out of his pocket. Fuck. A gun. My vision became blurry as tears starting pouring out of my eyes."Run." he said in the deepest voice. And that's what I did, I ran for my life. I didn't turn back. I ran out the door and ran to Justin's door slamming on the door. Come on Justin open please please. I saw the tall black figure walking out of my house with a gun in his hand still. I gasped. Finally Justin opened the door smiling but then slowly fading away into a worried look."A-ashley?" he said worriedly. I pushed him back into his house and slammed the door. I peaked through the window breathlessly. He was gone.
