Chapter 18 Karma Vs. Takaoka

Nagisa's pov.

He's going to kill Karma I just know it. Takaoka is on his fighting stance and so did Karma. "You fight like a devil but it won't be the same like last time." Takaoka smirked. Takaoka tried to punch Karma to the left but Karma dodge it. He then tried to punch Karma to the right but Karma bend down to Takaoka's punch so that he can hit him from the back. Takaoka fell down to his feet but went back up with his fighting stance again.

"You have a lot of opening Takaoka. Do you really think you can win this?" Karma smirked as he looked down on Takaoka. "As a devil you are. I will never give up." Takaoka growled. His punch is coming at Karma but Karma push it away with his right hand and punch him on the face. I was really happy for Karma but then Takaoka grinned at him. "That's all you've got." He snickered and punched Karma on the face. Karma fell to his feet and I'm really worried about this.

"Stop it please!" I shouted. "Nagisa, don't interfere." Karma pant. Oh no, Karma. "Bring it on." Takaoka sneered. Karma tries to charge at Takaoka but Takaoka dodge him then he kicks him on the back. Karma fell down to his feet again. He tried to get up but Takaoka punched him down. "Karma!" "Hey! Stop it, you're killing him!" Asano shouted as he came forward. "Stop it! Don't interfere! Let me finish him!" Karma grit his tooth as blood comes down to his nose. "But-" "Look at him Karma." Takaoka snickered as he face Karma to look at me.

"Do you really want to suffer like this?" "Karma...." I tried to keep my tears away but then Karma smiles. "I'm sorry Nagisa." As he said that, tears burst down on me. I can't see him like this. "Poor Nagisa." Takaoka smashed Karma on the floor then goes to the button. What is he doing?! "Takaoka! What are you doing!?" Itona shouted. "I got bored so... Ops!" He chuckled as he pressed down the button.

The container is filled with water and it's rising pretty fast. "Karma! Ah! Help me!" I shouted as the water is on the level of my hips. Itona and Asano comes forward and tried to attack Takaoka but he's too strong. How did it come to this?!

"Karma!!!" I shouted. Karma stood up and examine the situation. He saw Asano on the ground and also Itona. Then his attention went to me. "Nagisa?" "He- Help! Karma!" I shouted as the water is on the level of my chest. "Nagisa! Why did you-" "Like I said, I was getting bored." Takaoka grin as he prepared to fight Karma again.

Karma was getting angrier. He's very serious. He ripped a piece of cloth on his shirt and threw it on Takaoka's face. Takaoka tried to remove it then Karma punched him on the face. Karma then use both of his arms and slam them together on Takaoka's head. Takaoka was about to land a blow on Karma but Karma block it and punched him on the guts. Takaoka tried to land a blow again but Karma blocked it again then hits Takaoka's head with his elbow. He punched Takaoka on the face again. He then punch his guts then he punch him on the face and the final blow. A kick.

Takaoka fell on his feet then Karma just kicks him repeatedly. "Do me a favor and stay dead." Karma spits on Takaoka. I was pretty happy and proud of him that I forgot that the water is on my neck level. "Ka- Karma! Gurgh! Mmrrhh!!" I can't breath. "Nagisa! Don't die yet! You have to be strong." Karma said as he looks through the things around him. I'm losing conciousness and I can't breath.

"Nagisa!!!"

Asano's pov.

What is going on? My head feels heavy. As I open my eyes to see Itona on the ground with me. I saw Karma trying his best to break the glass. "Nagisa! Nagisa! Don't die on me!" Karma whimpered. "Karma? Nagisa!" I shouted as I force myself to stand up. "I need to break the glass somehow. He's running out of time!" Karma hesitated. There isn't an object around here so that means we have a problem. I thought for it for a second and something went through my head. "Wait here Karma." I said as I back away from the container. "What are you doing?" Karma asked. "There isn't an object around. So the only way to break the glass is by force."

I charged on to the glass and it worked. A few glasses slice a wound on my arm but I think I can handle it. I grab Nagisa away from the container and Karma quickly went to him. "Check his pulse!" I instructed Karma. Karma did what I told him to do then he looks at me. "We need to do a CPR." I said to him. He looks at Nagisa then does the CPR by himself. I went to Itona to check if his okay. He has a bruise on his arm. "Itona, wake up." I mumbled to him. I shake him for a little while then his eyes slowly opened. He looks at his surrounding then looks at me. "Asano? Where is..."

"Nagisa! Wake up! Wake up damn it! Don't leave me." Karma cried. Our attention went to them and I can see Itona's eyes were filled with despair. He tried to stand up but couldn't do it. "Don't strain yourself. You'll get worst." I whispered to him. "Asa- *whimper* Asano... Please tell me *whimper* he will live right? Please tell me?!" Itona cried. "I- I- I do-"

"Bleh! Cough! Cough! Cough! Pant... Ka... Karma...." Nagisa mumbled as he smiled from the look of Karma. Karma just kissed Nagisa's hand repeatedly then he kiss his forehead. "Don't scare me like that." Me and Itona are really relief that Nagisa is still alive. Suddenly a loud helicopter comes down from the roof when we saw Okuda!. This is bad, Okuda is a-

"Hello guys." Kayano appeared. Wha- What? Kayano is here too. "I'm not here to destroy you guys. I just realize that following Takaoka's order is not worth it." Okuda pouted. "Nagisa!" Kayano shouted. "Your not planning on taking him away from me, are you?" Karma glared. "Don't worry, I belong with Okuda-chan now." "What? My ex girlfriend?" Karma asked. "She's also my ex too." I sigh.

"We better bring him to the base." Kayano stated. "Your right, Karma and Itona go with them. I'll stay here." "Asano, what are you talking about? Your coming with us." Itona said confusedly. I put my fingers on Itona's chin and kissed him on the lips. "Because it's my job as a detective." I smiled at him. "Do you really need to kiss me at a time like this?" "Oh, it isn't a good time?" I asked nervously. "Nope, I'm just kidding with you." Itona smiled and kissed me one more time.

"Hurry up already. It's not like its the end of the world." Okuda sigh. "Sto... mmhh!" Itona moaned. "Stop doing a french kiss and let's go!" Karma shouted. "I'm sorry heehee..." "Your a good kisser." Itona winked and left with them. I waved at them and looked around to arrest Akira Takaoka. But I notice that he's gone. When I heard Itona's scream.

"Itona!" I shouted.
