Quote: "But other vampire stories? Well, no, I really haven't read too many, and I can't say I'm crazy about romantic vampires anyway - to me the vampire is simply an evil monster", unquote, UK horror author Brian Lumley, (February 2, 1937-), best known for the classic 'Necroscope' Vampire series.

The Countess bit the servant girl's throat with her fangs. Blood splattered down her neck. She convulsed, and within seconds, she was dead.

Vampire Lord Ferenc Balaign glided towards her.

"M'Countess...such beauty must not be filled with blood. Unless, you're sacrificing village girls". He stared at the dead body.

"She'll rise in three nights' time".

"Aye, M'Countess...", he smiled.

"Take her away. Others will come soon".

"M'Countess, people will know of your crimes".

"I've committed no crimes...".

She attempted to justify her actions, but failed.

"They will come soon. Unless no more village girls go missing. Families will ask for your head on the black colored Mist Gate Castle".

"Very well...She's the last one I'll feed".

"That, M'Countess, is the wisest choice you've made tonight". He picked the servant girl's body in his cold hands, and took her to one of the spare vampire coffins in the ancient dungeon...and slammed the coffin with a loud thud.
