Detention and bunking off

Hey so before I start just wanna say this is a collab story with my sister!!! puddins_lil_monsterx she has helped me with writing some of this so I hope you enjoy!!

Tyler's POV
I sat at the back of the class room as always. I grabbed my notebook and a pencil, put my earphones in, and started writing away.

I don't know why I feed on emotion
There's a stomach inside my brain
I don't wanna be heard
I want to be listened to
Does it bother anyone else
That someone else has your name?

Just then a boy with yellow hair and dark brown eyes walked in the room. Miss stood up and went over, I took my earphones out and watched as miss pointed up to the empty seat next to me.

Josh's POV
I was transferring to a new English class today cuz I'm getting quite good now. Im not good at the work half the time I don't do it but I am good at the tests and most people only care if I do well on the tests.

I walked in to my new class and immediately someone caught my eye. A small brown haired boy in the corner, earphones in and writing in some notepad. Then Miss came over and told me where to sit, she pointed to the empty seat next to the boy. I was pretty happy with that so I walked and sat in my seat. I noticed the boy twitch, was he scared of me?

Tyler's POV
The boy started walking towards me and as he sat down I flinched a little.
He leaned over and I stiffened up but tried to stay calm.
"Can I borrow a pencil please," he said. I saw he had a pencil already but I didn't wanna be a douche.
"S...sure" I said reaching for my pencil case and handing him one.
"I'm Josh by the way," he held his hand and I shook it slowly.
"Tyler" no one has ever asked for my name before.
"Nice to meet ya Tyler" Josh said. He then grabbed some earphones and turned them up full volume. I don't think he realised how loud they were, he started drumming not the table too, everyone turned to stare at him. He was a really good drummer, but Miss didn't care and was sent him to the office. I felt bad for him so I asked to go to the office because I had stomach ache Miss knows me and thought I would never lie so she let me go.

Josh's POV
Miss sent me to the office because I was "being too loud and disruptive" well i didn't know. The worst they can give me is an after-school detention
Then I heard someone behind me. It was Tyler.
"Y-you were r-really good by the w-way" he said nervously
"Thanks, I could help but notice your lyrics that you were writing... they're amazing"
"O-oh t-those they are just some rubbish poems"
"No they're real good"
"T-thankyou"
We arrived at the office and the head was sitting at his desk
"Hello (reads name from email) Joshua"
"Hello sir what can I do for you today" I  said a bit too cockily
Tyler giggled behind me and it was cute as fuck
"Joshua"
"Josh" I said again being extremely cocky
"Josh you will have a detention with me after-school today"
Then Tyler piped up
"I-I d-did it t-too sir" he said obviously lying but our head-teacher pulled a face.
"Really Tyler, you have never done anything like this before"
"Yeah I started it s-sir"
"I wasn't expecting that from you"he said eyeing Tyler making me suddenly feel protective " both of you after-school detention, now go back to class".

Tyler's POV
I don't know why I did it. It just felt right. I have never done anything like it. But it was amazing to see josh smile. He was so cute when he smiles
It's thoughts like that which got you in trouble last time

I felt my arm tingle.

Then Josh walked next to me
"Why'd you do that?"
"I-I don't know I have nothing better to do after school" I tried to stay cool but I just wasn't
"That's awesome now we can get to know each other a little better" he said making me blush."come here Tyler" he said. He led me down stairs to where the swimming pools were and out the back door.
"S-shouldn't we go back to class?"
"Fuck class let's have some fun"
"O-okay"
It felt good to go with josh it didn't feel wrong at all.
"How about we go get some food what you want?"
"Um... Taco Bell?"
"Oh my god I love Taco Bell!"
"I've never bunked off before"
"It'll be fine"
"Okay I trust you"
