Your eyes shine with darkness,
An empty void I cannot fill.
I take blame, full responsibility,
For the pain you cause yourself each day.

Tearing open your skin
And bleeding out...
If I hadn't have left
If only I was there for longer.

But I left you for a while
Long enough for you to fall
Long enough for you to break
And because of that I take blame

I've always loved you
And it pains me to see you hurt
But I hear you silently crying
And slowly planning ways to die

You hide your pain behind a smile
And laugh about your scars
You're slowly building a higher wall
But forever I will climb

...I love you...
...I really do...

...You just won't accept it...
