Chapter 3

Akura opened her eyes to a white room. She was lying in the a bed with a boy beside it.

She scrambled backwards afraid. The boy awoke suddenly and she looked down and saw that he had a blade in his hand. He looked at her wearily like she was going to attack him.

This made her giggle she then started laughing histarically. She was in no shape to even try to get up let alone attack him. The boy just stared at her like she was crazy.

" What do you think Im going to do....unleash a barage of mighty attacks. Ha ha Im not even in a position to lay a hand on you." she said with a smile.

He looked uncertain and slightly embarrassed " No! I just thought that um.... that somebody was attacking when you started to make all that racket" he said defensively.

" Well clearly their not".

"Ya I guess not".

" Well arent you going to put that thing away".

He blushed " Su-sure".

He put away his weapon then sat back down still alert for any attacks. Was he really that afraid of me? I wonder why?

" Why are you being so skitish around me" she asked.

"Well....well because you might be dangerous and apart of the Akatsuki" he said quickly.

"Huh? Why do you think that".

He looked surprised "We'll because the robe you had on. It's what all of the Akatsuki members wear". He pointed at the robe I had grabbed to disguise myself. I shuddered. Just thinking of that place scared me.

"Why are you crying?" the boy asked.

I felt my cheeks and sure enough I was crying. I hadn't even realized it untill he pointed it out. I dashed them away.

"I had something in my eye" I lied.

His eyes narrowed. He knew I was lying and for a second I thought he was going to press the issue but he didn't. I looked away pretending to rub at my eyes.

"Do you feel well enough to get up and walk because some people need to talk to you?" he said.

"Yes I think I can manage" I muttered.

I sat up slowly wincing at how bad my body ached. I swung my legs over the bed and attempted to stand. As soon as my feet hit the ground my legs gave out but before I could hit the ground someone caught me.

I looked up to sparkling blue eyes. They were bright like a clearless sky. I gasped not caring if he heard. I realized that it was the boy from yesterday and mentally cursed myself for not realizing how handsome he was. He had cute pointy blond hair, crystal blue eyes, plump lips, and strong angular face with little whisker like lines one his face.

His eyes widened slightly I dont know if it was from catching me or something else. I quickly shoved him away remembering the kunai he held to my throat yesterday.

He frowned "How about I help you" he offered.

I glared at him "We'll since you offered".

He swung his arm around my waste and I leaned into his shoulder making him take a lot of my weight. We started to slowly make are way down the hall.

We had just gotten outside when I noticed all of the debris everywhere.

" What happened here" I asked.

" The Akatsuki is what happened" he said coldly his jaw clenching.

I decided to be quiet for the remainder of the time. We had been walking for a little while when we came upon a large building. I could tell it was once beautiful but now it stood in shambles. It was currently having repairs done on it from what i could see.

The boy started walking in the building and noticed that I was still standing there.

"Arent you coming or are you going to stand there gawking" he asked

She hurried after him wondering where they were going. They finally came to a stop in front of a door. The boy glanced at her then opened the door with a calmness she didnt possess.

They entered and she froze.
