Naruto: Tailed Beast Tamer

Chapter 14

Motoi asked Naruto to come with him to the Waterfall of Truth after Naruto told him that him and Killer Bee had bumped fists. I decided to tag along because I was rather curious as to what they were doing.

Motoi told Naruto that this was the Waterfall of Truth and that this was the first step into learning how to control the tailed beast.

"Sir down and close your eyes Naruto. You will see your true self." Motoi tells Naruto.

"See my true self?" asks Naruto.

"That's right".

Naruto leaps to a circular piece of land in the middle of the water and sits down. I watch as he closes his eyes and relaxed. I begin to wonder what Naruto is seeing right now.

When Naruto opened his eyes again he heard a voice.

"Why"? The voice asked."Why didn't you give your autograph at Ichiraku"?

"What's that?" Naruto asks.

"Can't blame you though. They came kissing up to you like that. They were completely disgusting weren't they?" The voice says while stepping through the waterfall.

Naruto is shocked to see himself but with red eyes. He sits and stares at himself.

The dark Naruto kept talking though "Don't you remember? Everyone in the village used to treat us like outcasts and then they try to pull that"?

"Who the hell are you!?" Naruto asks.

"Isn't it obvious. I'm you".

"What! That can't be! I haven't made any shadow clones".

"I'm no clone. I'm the real you. The one that exists inside your heart. You see I am you".

Naruto stands up jabbing at a finger at the dark Naruto "What are you even talking about! I have know idea who you are! Now just stop making stuff up"!

The dark Naruto ignores him "Do they call this place the Waterfall of Truth? I never thought id be able to emerge completely like this. I like this place. Anyway...i'm the true you that your supposed to face. I'm the real you. Your true self inside".

"The real me? But..."

"Ya. I'm the hatred that's inside you. I'm the dark part of you".

Naruto gasps.

"The only difference between us is that the nine tails has taken a real serious liking to me".

"Then you...." So he's the one working with the nine tails Naruto thinks.

"Ya you got that right. Just face it i'm the real one here and i'm not going to let you kick me out you fake"!

"So that's how it is huh"?

The dark Naruto attacks the real Naruto and they come to a draw.

Motoi tells us that Naruto is fighting himself because the water fall reflects ones true self.

He tells us not to interfere.

All of a sudden Naruto snaps out of it and tells us what happened. Motoi tells Naruto he must defeat the Dark Naruto to help him control the nine tails power. He goes on to remind him that this is merrily the first step.
