Hunter P.O.V
Triston was chatting away with Serenity, "Hunter what's up" Riker whispered to me, I looked at him like nothing was wrong an said "The ceiling" Riker laughed and shook his head and went back to work. I am glad he didn't say anything else. "Hey" I heard someone say to me, I looked up and Triston was looking at me "Hi" I mumbled, he's mine my wolf said, 'Shut up you got it wrong' I said to my wolf, He just growled at me, "Soooo" Triston said I just ignored him, Why my mate is a guy not a girl, I thought to myself. "Hunter Wilde" Mrs Fern said to me, "Yes" I replied."Pay attention" she said in a grumpy voice, I just nodded at her and went back to work, 10minutes later class was finished and I ran out the room go to my locker i
to grab a snack before next class starts. I felt someone grab my arm an turned me around to face them but soon as I saw who it was, I grabbed their hand and pushed them away saying "Get away" to him, He looked at me and said in a low voice so no one would hear him "your mine" and laughed and took off yelling hello to everyone he passed by. I growled and turned around not bothering going to my locker and pushed a couple of people out of my way to get to class, No way am i getting with a guy never in a million years, I thought to myself. I got to my next class hoping it would hurry up and finish already. As soon as class was finished it was lunch time I walked to the cafe to get my lunch. After I got my lunch I walked over to where my two best friends were sitting "Hunty your here" Serenity yelled loud enough to make the whole school look this way. I glared at her and then turned it to the rest of the school everyone quickly turned away and went back to what they were doing. "Hunter are you sure your ok" Riker said looking at me in the eye so he knows Im not lying to him. "yeah just peachy" I said sarcastically back, "I know what it is?" Serenity said in a normal voice for once. "What?" Riker replied to her. She waved Riker over to her so she can whisper something to him. I let them be while I just ate my lunch, Oh No Triston is here i can smell him from a mile away,"Hello ma'm and sir" He said to a random couple holding hands. He's is a people person by the looks of it. I got up and mumbled to Riker and Serenity I going to the toilet and walked out. I heard foot steps behind me I knew who it was Triston. "WAIT" He yelled. I stopped but I didn't turn around and growled at him "Leave me alone your not my mate and never will be" He didn't say anything so I carried on to the toilet.

Triston P.O.V
It was lunch time so I walked to the cafe said hello to a few people on the way there. "Hello m'am and sir" I said to a cute little couple. They both smiled at me and said hi back, I smelled Hunter in the air. I looked around to see him get up and walk out. I rushed after him when I almost reached him I yelled "WAIT" He stopped but didn't turn around then he growled at me the next words I heard broke my heart "Leave me alone your not my mate and never will be" I stood there unmoving and quiet I didn't know what to say. I felt my heart full to the floor. I was already rejected by my mate, my wolf was whimpering wanting Hunter to come back. "Triss Triss Hello Triss" I felt someone shake me. I looked to my left to see Ari and Bee standing there, Bee had on a sympathetic look while Ari just smiled a sad smile at me. I guess they heard what Hunter said to me. "Are you ok? We heard what he said" Bee asked. I nodded and walked back to the cafe like nothing even happened I heard the girls talking but I wasn't listening, How can ph listen when my heart was ripped out, I never thought I would find my mate, I never thought my mate was a guy. But that didn't worry me that he was a guy. I guess me and my wolf will have to try our best to make our mate want us even if it takes a year or more. Hopefully it won't take that long I thought to myself.
