Chapter sixteen

Hunter P.O.V

I just finished getting ready for the ceremony. I can't believe in just under 10minutes, Triston and I will be Alpha's, knock knock kno..."Come in" I yelled out. "Hey man how you feeling?" Riker asked, I moved to go sit on my desk chair as Riker sat on my bed, "I feeling great" I replied to his question. "I can't believe this is all happening, my best mate found his mate which happens to be a guy, that he rejected at the start but now he's madly in love with him. I happy for you man" Riker told me, If it wasn't for him, Me and Triston would never be together, "Thanks man" I smiled at him, "Hunty baby, you ready" my mum said standing at the door, I got up and walked over to her and gave her a hug "Yes i am mum" and let go of her, she smiled and walked downstairs, Riker patted me on the shoulder and walked out with me following him. We got outside to see all my pack members along with Triston's pack members, Riker sniffed the air, "Riker what you smelling?" I asked giving him a weird look, "My mate" He simply replied. He was about to walk towards the scent but I grabbed his arm, "After the ceremony, go look for them" I told him, He gave me a pout but nodded noneoftheless. I walked up to my dad and stood next to him, Triston walked over and stood in front of me. My dad spoke up, "We are here to hand over the alpha right to my son, Hunter James Wilde" Everyone cheered and clapped. Dad waited for it to die down before he spoke again. "Hunter will take full responsibility of making sure the pack is safe and sound along with Triston Samuel Car.." I looked at everyone "Wait" It was Maddie, 'Oh no', "Yes Maddie" Dad asked her. "I just want to let you know Hunter" She smiled at me but it was an evil smile, "What is it Maddie" I said through cleaned teeth. She walked over to me with a cell phone in her hands and passed it to me and pressed play. 'No Fucken Way' I looked at Triston and passed him the phone, He gave me a confused look but took it and watched it, His face went pale and tired to explain "This is not what.." I cut him off "Not what I think? It is of you kissing my sister, what the hell?" I yelled at him, Triston grabbed my arm but I pulled out of his grip, "Don't touch me" And walked off. My mate and my sister kissing, I thought he loved me. "Hunter wait" It was Riker, But I ran into the trees and shifted, My wolf taking full control, the wind blowing through my fur, my paws pounding the ground, It felt so good, I heard paws from behind me but I ignored them. Once I reached to my favorite spot, I laid down and looked over the beautiful trees, watching them blow lightly in the wind, 'Hello little brother' Maddie mind linked me, I heard her approach me, 'What Maddie?' I growled at her. She laughed 'Oh little brother, you see, I am glad this all happened' What the Fuck is she talking about. She is glad this happened, 'What are you talking about?' I asked annoyed with her already. 'God little brother you don't get it do you?' She laughed again, 'Get what?' Maddie shook her head at me and walked off. I need to find out what she is talking about but I need to relax first. I stayed in my favorite spot all night, I watched the sun go down, and watch it come up. I didn't want to go back home. I can't face Maddie or Triston, they betrayed me. But I have to go back sooner or later, So I stood up and shaked my fur out and walked back. I could hear birds tweeting, leaves blowing, little creatures scurrying around. It was calming and peaceful. I reached home. I walked up to the door still in wolf form and walked in since it was open. "Hunter" It was Triston what is he doing here. I looked around for something to cover up I found a blanket, I shifted and wrapped around my naked body, "What are you doing here?" I said angrily. "Please let me explain" Triston rushed out. "Explain" I told him walking upstairs to my room, Triston right behind me. "That was not the full video, I swear" Triston said. I looked through my draws and grabbed a pair of underwear to put on and dropped the blanket and grabbed a pair of jeans and slid them on not worrying about a top. I looked over to see Triston checking me out. I love it when his eyes get darker, I shook my head and snapped my fingers to get Triston back. He quickly looked away. "Well?" I asked. "Oh yeah, Maddie came up to me just before we went to the cabin. She asked me what I was doing for the night while giving my flirty look and rubbing my arm. I grabbed her hand and pushed it away, and told her spending the night with my mate. She got angry and grabbed my arm and kissed me, I tried getting out of her grip but I couldn't so I stood on her foot. she let go of me. I yelled at her what the Fuck? I have a mate. She laughed in my face and said quietly enough so I could hear not for long. I swear" I stood there thinking over what he said, He didn't kiss her but why didn't he tell me?, Did Maddie say not for long? Do I believe what he saying?. I looked in his eyes he was staring straight back. He's telling the truth I can see it in his eyes. I walked over to him. "I believe you" He smiled and kissed me, I kissed him back. I pulled away from Triston and walked to the door "Where you going?" Triston asked. I didn't look back him and answered "Going to see Maddie" I walked out. I went to Maddie's room an knocked on her door. She opened up and said "Look what the cat dragged in" I glared at her.

Triston P.O.V

I stood in Hunter's room waiting for him to get back from Maddie's room. All of a sudden I heard Maddie yell so I walked out of the room listening in on Hunter and Maddie. "YOU KNOW WHY I DID IT?" Maddie yelled, "NO I DON'T" Hunter yelled back, I couldn't see them as Maddie door was closed. "You stole my friends off me when I was 8years old," Maddie said like she was just about to cry. "What do you mean I stole your friends off you?" Hunter replied back to her, Hunter is probably giving her a confused look right about now. "You took Sandy, Mason and Katy off me," Maddie said now crying. "Maddie i was 5 I had no idea that I was taking your friends. But it doesn't give you the right to make MY LIFE HELL and what you did lastnight was one thing I never knew you would do" Hunter said, "Im sorry Hunter i really am" I heard a little squeak so I am guessing someone sat down. "You can't just say sorry Maddie, You have been hating on me for years for something so little. Now go say sorry to Triston" Hunter said in a low voice, I heard footsteps walk to the door. I quickly ran back to Hunter's room. I sat on his bed, Hunter walked in with a red puffy eyed Maddie behind him. "Hey babe" Hunter walked over to me and sat down, Maddie stood there looking anywhere but at us. "Maddie" Hunter said sternly. "Uh Triston I am sorry for lastnight, I only did it because I was jealous of Hunter stealing my friends when we were younger." I looked to Maddie "I forgive you Maddie, So you held a grudge on Hunter for a very long time?" I smiled at her, "Yeah I was" Maddie answered and walked out. Lets hope Maddie stays this way and not go back to having a grudge on Hunter. "I love you" I mumbled. "I love you to" Hunter replied and got up and took his pants off and hoped into to bed. I left Hunter to sleep while I went to the bathroom to have a shower.
