part 18

I wake up by myself my parents are not home,  I start getting ready trying not to think of what today might bring. Everything is messed up I need to check up on hawkeye.
I walk in class,  hawkeye is not there.   I start freaking out,  though as long as nothing happened I will see him at 12:00. The bell rings and I get to my seat.

"Sooooooo...  You and hawk hu? "
"Kate stop"
"Com'n,  you guys are sooooo cu- ouch!  Jack!! "
Of course Jack will through papers what else could he possibly do in class?  Study???
"Speaking of him...  Something is very wrong with him.  Does any of you girls know what happened? By any chance?" Jack has clearly seen him yesterday,  he looks so worried. 
"It doesn't have anything To do with Julie...  Right? " asked Kate,  seriously? "No no...  I think it has something to do with his parents.  Though they are already dead so what could possibly happen?? " said jack.
"He didn't come to school...  This is pretty bad.  We should go check on him" kate suggested. I don't know if it's a good idea...
"Good idea" on second thought,  jack knows him best. 
Great so now we are bailing school.
"We are like a squad!!!  The four of us!!  Soooo cool" said kate on the way to hawkeyes house. I swear to God kate can be so annoying,  she is right though, the four of us have been hanging out together a lot. this kind of started at the begging of the year.  Still why would she mentione it?
"Bailing on school together.... "
Of course jack will join her.

Well,  if he is not home I'm going crazy.
"Hey hawk?! " yelled jack when we got to the house.
"Jack don't yell you can knock" said kate,  jack gave made a face. The door opened.  Hawkeye was standing there,  his hair messed up and he looks like he haven't slept in weeks.  Probably because of the other dimension. He looked at us,  kind of judging us.  "Go away" he demanded as he was about to slam the door at us.
"Hawkeye wait!  You don't have to tell me what happened!" Jack yelled.  "It's really fine we will not ask we just wanna be there for you" said Jack looking at us, "yes we promise" kate confirmed.
"Alright" hawkeye said and let us in.
Jack started making some tea,  hawkeye sat on the couch, his eyes were bloodshot. Kate sat down. 
"Whatever happened I'm sure it will pass and you will be OK" said kate.
"It's not one of those things that can pass kate.  I don't think there is anything any of you guys can say that can cheer me up"
It's 11:30. I'm scared.
"Hawk,  just tell the police if it's your uncle ag-"
"It's not my uncle,  you are not keeping your promise do not ask what happened! " hawkeye raised his voice,  I have never seen him this angry before.  Amazingly Jack was taking it really well, seems like it's not his first time.  "I see, it's like last time.  Here" he siad and held out  a cup of tea for him.
Hawkeye looked up, "no".
"Hawkeye you haven't eaten anything since yesterday.  Have you ate anything after I left? " jack asked with a worried face.
"My health is non of your concern"
"Hawkeye please-"
"Jack if you don't stop this right now I will kick you out" hawkeye said in a threatening voice.
Jack sat down across the room thinking what to do. 
"You guys can do whatever you want I will be in my room" hawkeye said and left us downstairs,  going up to his room,  running away from us.
"I've known hawkeye since forever and it has never been that bad... Whatever happened it has something to do with his parents,  I will try to talk to him again" jack said and went upstairs,  and I stayed with kate.
It's 11:58...

"He kicked me out" jack said as he went downstairs in shame.
"What happened to your hand?!" Kate noticed him holding it in pain.  "I.... pissed him off,  I deserve it though I broke my promise."
I get that feeling again as if I am fainting and....

"Get up let's finish with this"
