When she arrived, the sun was slowly but surely going down to the horizon, as it normally does in the afternoon.

It's like the sun was cowering in fear, knowing what was coming.

And then she did.

Lapis was sitting on the floor of the barn, hugging her knees to her chest whilst staring out the huge hole in the side of her home. She was staring blankly into space, when The Orange Girl arrived.

"Hello, Lapis." She said in her low, rough voice. Lapis flinched as Jasper pulled her close, embracing her.

"Hi Jasper." The Blue Girl hid her shuttering as Orange kissed her neck roughly, her lips like daggers to Blue's heart. Then, Jasper loosened her.

Lapis opened squeezed shut eyes and looked at what Jasper was looking at.

There, a slender silhouette was standing, body confident.

Pearl. "L-lapis?" She said, "What's going on? I thought we were dancing today..." Crap! Lapis forgot to cancel! Or maybe she didn't because she hoped Jasper wasn't arriving. Pearl made her feel hopeful for the first time in thousands of years. Jasper needs to know this.

"J-asper," Lapis began, "this is my..." Lapis swallowed and continued. "Girlfriend."

The Orange Girl let go completely. "What the FUCK, Lapis?" Jasper tended to be profane. "Pearl?? That bitch??"

The Yellow Girl faced Orange. "Are you assaulting my girlfriend?"

Now Jasper was mad. And so was Pearl. They summoned they're weapons.

Jasper attempted to head-butt Pearl, who gracefully moved to the side, and struck back in self defense. That's pretty much how they're conflict went.

Eventually, Jasper gave up. "But be careful, Pearl." She said in the end. "Lapis's a psycho bitch."

And the Blue Girl never saw her again.
